Then there was a caller that came on with what seemed to be a prepared statement. Snoory obviously muted him, asked a question, un-muted him and did the whole "next caller up..." transition. Now that was classic Snoory open-line management.

Nothing would surprise me about Noory. A couple of years ago, he had someone convicted of pedophilia call in from prison. Noory actually considered having a round table discussion with this pos and others about child molestation. This is where my personal dislike of him ratcheted up to into the stratosphere. His fascination with dead babies is sick enough, but wanting to give a public forum to a manipulative dirtbag like that convicted molester so he could tell his side of the story with 'expert' panelists on hand showed Noory for the creep he really is.

I recall hearing that back when I used to listen to the jackass.  Much like you, my dislike of the man noticeably increased.  If you could trust that his "experts" would be trained and intelligent it would not have been so bad.  But his panel would consist of Dr. Breggan, the numbers lady and a representative from NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association...)

To turn a phrase, there's no doubt about that.

The guest was on to help people who are living with the emotional scars of child abuse, and out of the blue Noory piped in "What causes a parent to kill their child?" or something similar.   Now, I'm sure in George's mind that was relevant and very sensitive to the people the guest was trying to help, but I think it took the guest aback because it was none of those things.  She kind of divorced herself from the question, but then said she had missed what he had asked. 

When that happens on any other program -- for instance, when George asks a science question and the guest asks for clarification -- George usually goes with whatever the guest had assumed since he didn't really care in the first place.  In this one case, George was very specific:  "I asked what causes a parent to kill their child?"

Very peculiar behaviour.

Forcing a child to listen to jorch rambling would be abuse in my opinion. Seriously though boy jorch may be a lot of things; a talent-less hack, toomeric pusher/addict, corporate shill, daft and a mustache dyeing weirdo but there really isn't any evidence linking him to child abuse.
