I'm just doubting Art's return is going to seriously effect Dave's ratings as posters around here suggest will happen.

Arts return shouldn't effect Dave's ratings and well.... You should know better than to believe most of the posters here.

Why should it?  MITD provides options to people, and that is all that you can ask for.  There will always be those who make the decision to live their life without any wish to explore beyond what is comfortable to them... who refuse to mount an inquiry into what they cannot see and may not understand.  I believe that those people make up the majority of the population (and certainly account for the bulk of C2C's listeners.) 


There will be some who listen to Art for the first time and realize what an interview could be- but most will remain willingly ignorant.  Coast will loose a few listeners at a minimum- but will retain their base.  Dave has driven the smart ones away already...
