But he's a great American. If you don't believe it just ask him  ::)

There's another thread devoted to this guy. We are stuck with him in the Sunday evening slot on KVI since Drudge gave up his radio show. I would rather infomercials than this hack(he pretty much embodies my idea of talk radio hack in case you ever wonder what I mean when I call somebody a hack). I do my best to have a movie to watch or something those nights, or be gone, just silence and a good book. I think that KSER, which I often like, plays music I hate on Sun. nights.

I read someplace (maybe Free Republic) that Cunningham has a TV show along the lines of Jerry Springer, only the guests are usually black, suggesting it's an attempt to make blacks look bad.  I don't know.  I haven't seen it, and maybe that's who applies to be on the show and that's why it's not more diverse. But I think he's friends with Springer, so it doesn't surprise me that he would have a tasteless, exploitative  TV show.

Listening to this hack might ruin George Thorogood for you, and we can't have that.

I have to say, I really like Willy. There's something about him... I really can't put my finger on it, but he's just entertaining. Of course, I reckon it helps that I am a right-winger.

Does seem a little out of place, doesn't' it?

But then,  nothing is as bad as what Jim Bohanan plays, and I consider him the best radio guy currently in the business.

HE DOES! I couldn't believe that I was flipping around with the TV in the afternoon and I saw a TV talk show with his name on it. He didn't "look" like the voice I imagine on the radio. The content of the TV show like you said is also kind different than radio, while on radio it's pretty much generic RW politics, his TV show is more of a cheesy lowbrow "conflict" show usually consists of finding the worst stereotypical black people you can find.

After seeing just minutes of his show, I am a bit surprised he has any political pull on his radio life. You would think one aspect would take away from another aspect (kind of like how Springer isn't really a credible political figure anymore even though he was a mayor once.

Plus Cunningham face is really odd, it look like it full botoxed up or about to melt or something  :D

yumyumtree

Yes, somebody(probably on Free Republic) said that Cunningham's face looked like it was melting.

I guess one of his main claims to fame is that he mentioned Obama's middle name in a speech introducing John McCain at some function and McCain freaked out, because that's supposed to be racist, even though Hussein, is, well, his real middle name. So this gave Cunningham some publicity he might not otherwise have had.
