     Just a few points/questions.
     1) Show of hands: How many of you play WoW on a regular or semi-regular basis?
     2) Fed up with the dullards who populate the place, as I've mentioned in the past, I want to start a guild whose members will be limited specifically to a) people 18 and older, and b) lifelong Anglophiled Britcom fans who wish to exchange witty banter and hurled turnips with one another. Would any of you join and do any of you know anything about running a guild? I would want to be Supreme Bean, but would need a left-tenant to manage the mechanics of the thing. This person I would reward with a steady diet of turnips and on Wednesday, buttered scones for tea. With turnips.

Mordred, not thrilled with Blizard at the moment but in too deep to quit now.

If I played it, I would sign up right now as one of your sergeants.  I only work for shiny conkers, not turnips.  Turnips make me gassy, and that attracts orcs.

I don't remember "URU", I can go back to Pong, Defender, Asteroids and the old favorite Ultima. Then I got off the gaming thing for many years and then my grandsons got me started on Diablo and then Guild Wars. So now they don't play at all since they found out there are girls on the Planet.

take a peak at that. they had an online version no competition, just co operation and exploration of a beautiful environment ... and a nice way to make friends while doing a little sight seeing and of course getting all the machines/ages up and running. In the online version they would fix some of the "ruins" levels and create new ages for you to explore, it was very very cool. Do you remember Myst? This is one of the realtime sequels... and its not near as boring as the first according to people who thought the first was boring... i, did not. The servers shut down a year agos, and cyan words has since decided to make it open source so fans can create ages. If you are on mac, get myst end of ages for a little insight. If you are on pc, check out uru(get the expansion packs) and myst end of ages. They ported uru live for mac but when the server shut down it was no longer playable. I'm still sad about this. Hopefully when they release the open source, it will become available again.
