Robert

I've seen some weirdness in my experience as a biochemist, but it'd be of such nature as not to be of interest to a general audience.  One case was just a laboratory version of those strange happenings people experience at home, typically in the kitchen, wherein something gets into someplace it couldn't possibly have been without something extremely strange happening; in my case it was some DNA.  Another was a dose-response curve that had a bizarre dip in it, the sort of thing that indicates something much more complicated than simple models would predict, and it was there again when I repeated the experiment; but the only way a lay audience would understand it as strange would be by some analogy to behaviors of things they're familiar with.  Another odd dose-response plot was in a couple of papers I read -- a biphasic one that would suggest there's something to the homeopathic principles of dilution & opposite effect -- but the sponsor of research that would've explored that further ran out of money.

Most of the flakiness I've seen in science, however, lay in the people doing it.

Holy Ghosts

I'd like to hear some discussion of the old "Hotel Cecil" mystery from Los Angeles. A young woman was inexplicably found dead in the hotel's rooftop cistern...after elevator camera footage caught her acting strangely, fleeing from an unseen pursuer. I have posted the video in my "Top 5 Scariest YouTube videos" list of my website, if anyone's interested...

Been done. I wouldn't mind if it were done again. There are lots of these stories that can be talked about without violating anyone's national security.

Holy Ghosts

Do you have any idea roughly what time period the Hotel Cecil was covered?

I am recalling there was discussion of it on Dark Matter, but I may be confusing my memories. I know that mysterious disappearances, in general, have been covered by Art, before that cistern story broke (which is, indeed, worth a whole hour or two of talk on itself, easily).

I did not mean to sound dismissive of your suggestion and I am sorry I cannot be more helpful, btw. :) \o/

Elisa Lam/Cecil Hotel incident (saw it was mentioned earlier)
Enfield Poltergeist
Dyatlov Pass incident
MH370 (now that a piece of plane has been found)
Happy Face Killer
Lost Colony on Roanoke Island
Aokigahara Forest in Japan (connection between physical landscapes and mass suicide, or ghosts luring people to suicide?)
new developments in animal intelligence
TIGHAR and other developments re: Amelia Earhart
Edison's device to talk with the dead

No worries. Thanks for the reference points, I'll see if I can track down the episode! It's a very mysterious story indeed.

Bavarian Joe

I just thought of another one.

The Brabant Killings/Gladio.

Hell, Gladio and the whole 'stay behind' thing could make a series of shows.

Yes! Excellent. GLADIO and other stay behind networks/Right-wing/Left-wing groups in Europe in the 60, 70, and 80's could make many shows, so it would be good, to focus on local aspect/events (as you say Brabant Killings*.) And separate show/guest for other stuff like:
-P2/Moro kidnapping killing stuff and Red Brigade bombings, etc. Also
-Olaf Palme's assassination.
-RAF, B-M etc.
-Dag Hammarskjold's plane crash (apparently the UN and some police agencies are reopening that case.)

Lots of good stuff here IF Art wants to go down rabbit-holes; so far, in the new, show he has stayed away from "conspiracy," except with regard to "cover-up" of UFO, RV, underground bases, etc.

The problem is, as "other shows" have done, it is easy to get "off-topic" into larger and even less prove-able conspiracies once you venture down the path.

Interview with "Fat" Charles Geerts (Koning van de Wallen),  "King of the Red-light District" (prostitution/porn/hash district in Amsterdam.) Who got paid off, basically, by the government for much of his property but had links, supposed or alleged, to lots of things.

Chupacabra

1. An update show on chupacabra

2. More Ed dames remote viewing updates  (Has Ed dames remote viewed 9/11?, Chupacabra? Mels  hole?)

3. And more demon, priest talking about possessions and the state of the church. (always makes me put my covers up to my eyes in the dark)
