Here is the game plan.  Noory has hired BellGab to reinvent him and Coast.  Where do we begin?  What stays and what goes?  This includes Noory and Coast.

George needs to make the leap to TV. He can revive the cheesy, variety shows that were popular in the 50s and 60s. If you think about it, it's not really a stretch. He could host an amateur hour like his emerging artists. He could open the show with a song. There would limited interviews, more about introducing the acts. His audience could vote on the winners- It would work for him.

For those of you who are old enough, think Ted Mac's Original Amateur Hour.

All proceeds and PR fees will go to house deserving Falkiesss.

Good call! As you point out he already had dreams foreshadowing this with his attempt at "emerging artist" music feature and is obsessed with older singers, variety, magic, and comedy acts. And apparently loves to "entertain" audiences with his singing at his "big event.s" As long as he keeps any interviews very, very limited-- Dick Cavett he is not.

Superficial chit chat, a fun fact for the day, an anecdote or two about himself, chatting up the contestants.... as long as he stayed away from any serious interviews or commentary...he'd be in his element!

That would be ideal for him!  He could feature only performers who he thinks would "never make it today," with the winner being the one voted least likely to succeed. In keeping with the emerging artists theme, each act would be allowed to perform for just eight seconds, with the last four almost drowned out by a voice over announcing the next commercial break.

Seriously, when Jim BlowHannon retires, George can easily fill his schmaltzy, canned response, taped interview self-reacharound.

sNoory would be a step up from Jimbo - or maybe a half-step

Fire everyone.  Cancel the show and replace with white noise.  Order in the universe...reestablished.
