Sounds fun.  Except the remote part.  Not simping for her for $50 a month. Fuck that.  But would totally pack the bong for her while climbing the Tikaboo peak overlook to Area 51 then treat her to a $800 dinner /wine pairing in Vegas after.
Looking forward to the post-Vegas report.

She had one too many edibles last night, I think. Laughing at random points, mumbling, more air-headed than normal, garbled words, rambling sentences, mispronunciations, random interjections, and so on. I hope she keeps her head more clear, lest she actually finds a Dogman on one of her cam shows in the woods.

She made a big deal out of broadcasting from her home now...probably too near the kitchen I'll wager.

For a cam girl who is trying to make money by going out into the woods to find Bigfeet and Dogmen she had real trouble with the second guest also- who was trying to talk about missing hikers and safety in the woods. Something that could be of use in Connie's cam business but she couldn't even remember the basics the guest just told her!

Connie Willis had frequent caller "Erik the Mind-Control Guy" as a guest last night. But then one of the typical woo gals about channeling and helping abductees.

albrecht

The second woo gal though had a unique spin in which, I wasn't clear how, but something about avoiding being 'reported' via HIPPA or getting something 'on your record' when you go to her for her services that might be problematic with your insurance company, getting a job, etc. I don't know the rules but I thought one of the points of HIPPA and privacy laws (haha, yeah right) was that going to a psychiatrist, doctor, or even psychologist was private, or even rehabs, or supposed to be? I know they leak out (who was that VP candidate once) but, in theory. So I wasn't sure what her point was.

albrecht

The gold miner Mike had some interesting stories, unfortunately had phone troubles. He had some interesting theory about Bigfeet eating gold and, perhaps, that is why we can't find bodies and, maybe, why gold seams are maybe dead Bigfeet. Or something? Connie doesn't believe that Bigfeet are dangerous but Mike disagreed. Where is Akwilly? He could detail some Alaska tales also. Like burning crap, and I mean crap. Hope he and his dog are well and the Bigfeet didn't get them!
Walt called in to hit on Connie again.

Driving home last night I sorta 'came too' and asked myself 'wtf is this broad babbling about?' I wasn't really paying attention but put on the AM and Connie Willis was on with some dude who remote views but also 'died five times.' But the limited part of the show I heard they were babbling and giggling about youtubes and something to do with Gilligan's Island and other tv theme songs that he son does in a capella. Or something bizarre and nonsensical. I didn't stick for open lines because I'm sure they would've sucked even worse.

Kinda makes one miss Lee Cigar. Or Mike Siegel. Or Art

Not really. Putting on an old, already heard, Art is better than modern C2C. I was moving a bunch of crap out of a storage unit and house a bit back of a deceased uncle and I even resorted to throwing on an old Bruce Williams show that was decades old. But motivating: I found out how to get out of a time-share and will not go into a dry-cleaning business with my brother-in-law!

Oddly enough, I was driving a few nights ago. Turned on coast and sure enough there's Connie Willis. Talking to some lady with dementia. I questioned my sanity and tuned out.

"Stimulating talk-radio," as Phil Hendrie's bumpers would go. Dave would call it 'riveting.' Very sad what C2C has become. Hendrie, though was, apparently sorta an a-hole, but was a genius in his show and one of the best host evers back in the day when he messed with people, fake guests, and such.

Does Connie let the Sad Pack call in?

There was no open lines - Connie often prefers to get the guest to stay over longer thru the whole show, skipping open lines and might at most take a few calls near the end for the guest. She asked the remote viewer guest to stay on to the end of the show and he replied he had nothing better to do!
At least that spares us from the regular Friday sad-pack like Cornelius, etc.

The show isn't entertaining anymore, it in-fact is very sad. I'm sure, Hendrie, was impossible to deal with.

Creative people are, often, a-holes or crazy and can't manage money because impulsive. Not always, of course. But it could be a feedback loop in some situations which leads to more crazy: 'what happened to my money!" "bad investments, I'm taking care of you- get back on a tour." C2C is riding it out on a captive audience and, despite the main company going through 'difficulties,' it is a minor concern. Train Kepta Rollin' All Night Long- though Aerosmith cover of same would not be acceptable bumpers for Dave, what with his' family show' concerns.
I don't know Phil's situation, of course, but he pushed limits. Which is awesome. The way he did in FLA of all places put old Jewish lady on hold, but not really, to get the station manager and said "who is this old Jew broad I gotta deal with" and associated high-jinx was amazingly hilarious. Again, "put you on hold," "don't we got that old rabbi who pays for time early Saturday, get him to talk to her." And then comes back and lady is ranting "I heard what you said." And they all dispute it and fake voices. Brilliant.

Some people are just assholes by default. A cover band on a worldwide tour is what C2C actually is. That's how good Art was at what he did, that in itself is quite impressive.

Jews love their schtick.

Which conference are you hitting next? A "whole life expo" or the "Ufo-Con?" Maybe that other one, what is, "yeah the Conspiracy Con in Vegas!" They got some nice buffets I hear.

ps: the good comedians admit that about 'them.' I joked because I couldn't fight at PS8.

Those are entertaining, not the speakers, but the people who frequent them.

Several years ago some guy blogged about the "Conspira-Sea" cruise. Was hilarious, fascinating, and sometimes sad. But he, generally, said most everyone there was friendly, even those deluded and it appeared that even the presenters believed their stuff (though a good salesman, even legit, knows that is the best way to sell a product and the technique is also used in scams, cults, etc.) This was the cruise in which SDM and his wife was arrested and lead to the amazing bizarre events later which couldn't be made into a Hollywood script because so amazingly weird.

With a guest who owns a haunted antique store and is, surprise!, a tarot card reader. And then, in the 2nd half, wait for it, wait for it...a psychic clairvoyant!

That was great, and again quite accurate. The people that attend are always pretty nice and friendly but some of them believe everything.

Before that cruise I interviewed SDM, I had asked him if he was at all concerned about going to jail. He of course said it wasn't anything he was worried about. Fast forward to later this year, he told me he's battling cancer right now.
