Biden's son getting kicked out of the USAF for testing positive for cocaine is so much more classier than this incident.
Well.....yeah.  He's a decent Amurican.  And Joe's kid.  That's gotta count for something.

Because Biden's son taking the consequences for his bad behaviour, none of which Biden was present for, is EXACTLY THE SAME as Sarah Palin side-stepping the bodies of her drunken nuclear family, screaming "Don't you know who I am?" and then denying it all later.

Well, exactly the same for pig-fucking hillbillies and those that support their politics.

How dare you, suh!

Don't you realize the Biden's are members in good standing of the Democrat Party?

You have an irrational hatred for the Palin family.

Did she come in your house in the middle of the night and weld up your uterus with some steel boilerplate, thus preventing the right to practice the sacrament of abortion, and stink your house up like Winston cigarettes and cheap taco mix, or something?

Letting some woman in Alaska piss you off this much is kind of silly.    She has a fairly decent list of achievements for a woman growing up and maturing in male-dominated Alaska.   More than you would achieve in a more gender neutral lower-48.

Classy?  No.  But Biden's son appears to have a drug problem, an addictive personality, and as such, might be pitied.  Also, his transgression was immediately and seriously punished.  And it involved just himself, in contrast to a whole family making fools of themselves and receiving only further publicity for the effort.

Many of the same people that viciously disparage the Palins, will  defend the Kennedys and their multi-generational egregious behavior.

Add to it she holds no political office nor does she have any political power. Same as the "tea party". And yet none get the libs panties in a wad tighter. What better display of progressives concern for symbolism over substance. Another classic display of left-wing ignorance.

I see no one on this forum defending the (off-topic) Kennedy's, but, yeah, sure, somebody probably would be a Kennedy apologist.  I see your point: the Kennedy clan has had plenty of loutish episodes, from addiction to sexual assault to (some argue) manslaughter.  The Palins have a long way to go to catch up.  But we are talking about the Palins on this particular thread.  I lump them in now with the Kardasian clan:  money-grubbing publicity whores.  If they represent true America, fuck me sideways:  we're screwed.

You know what? I take it back:  we aren't screwed.  America will go on despite the Palins and the Kennedy's and such. :-\  No need to be overwrought about a drunken family brawl.

Blah, just Blah!

The younger Biden holds no office, GD.  Are we punishing the father for the sin of the son?

Now, Westie (lol), when has adherence to thread topic ever prevented our liberal friends from taking any thread on a countryside tour when it suits them??

Come on (laughing).

You're confusing hatred with disgust, and Palin with the actual target of that disgust, which is folks like you.  I'm sure you're familiar with the emotion.  After all, Palin-huggers react to the "worshipping" of Obama in the same way as a dog who spots a squirrel.  Obama, you see, is merely a manifestly incompetent, media-genic empty suit.  So how is that not irrational hatred, and how does it differ from Palin?  Well, Obama didn't quit office for opportunistic financial reasons, breaking his solemn oath, so he must be a fuckin Socialist.  And few people mention how fuckable he is every time his name comes up.  With the neocons, there's always an excuse why what's okay for them is wrong when YOU do it.

Speaking of disgust, the way you guys drool about Palin as the apex of fuckability only serves to remind the rest of us what a typical neocon woman looks like.  Stereotypes exist for a reason, don't they?

And I could say much the same about Obama having a fairly decent list of achievements for a black guy who grew up in a broken home and was mostly raised by others.  Annnnnd also point out that you couldn't pack his lunch, achievements-wise.  But that would be hypocritical, and since I'm not a neocon, I try to avoid that kind of behaviour.

And most or all of the loutish Kennedys are dead, forget about being in office, unlike the many, MANY neocons who have been caught diddling little boys while braying about sinful liberal fags.  Never mind that, though, all aboard the Hypocrisy Special!

Neocons.  Why are neocons called neocons?  They seem to harken back to instinctual reactionary belief systems.  They try to institute tribal survival skills into national politics.  They rely on black and white visions of truth, of good and evil, that don't work in a complex populace world.  They should be called paleocons.

And have been, plenty of times.  That's pejorative rather than descriptive, so I try to stick with neocons.

OK, Hunter Biden has a nose candy issue. He's also 42 years old, a Yale JD, and rather successful in his own life.  If I was Joe Biden, I'd wouldn't be worried overly about comparisons to the dysfunctional Palin tribe and their wide trail of personal wreckage.

I don't think neocon is descriptive.  A group which subscribes to the ideology of 'getting back to basics' should embrace a prefix like 'paleo.'  However, I will not use a term that is perceived as name calling since it can only take away from my arguments.

Better to stick with pics showing someone's face stuck on Nixon's body, which is humour and not name calling.

It doesn't do much to support my integrity, but one moment of throwing in random names into my Bellgab account set up has destined me to illustrate George in various presidential roles.  This particular one makes me look like a doofus but I'm too lazy and unimaginative to change it.

Bloody Canadians.

Reported.

On the subject of Canadians, what is a Canuck?  (Who gives a Canuck?  What the Canuck? Canuck off!  Canuck you!)

Don't call yourself names, dude.

Since it was self-inflicted I thought you'd give me a pass on that one.  Next time I'll be more vigilant.  Seriously, I'd hate to be someone who actually disagreed with you.

Just a Canadian -- not specifically a Montreal Canadien or a Vancouver Canuck but a Canadian in general.  Wikipedia says it originated as American slang for French Canadians though.

I didn't want to pile it on, but sure, Palin is a narcissistic sociopath.

Maybe I got defensive.  Sometimes it's difficult to read intent on the internet.  I enjoy your insights.

Let's get back to Palin.
