I've heard that too, actually. And if the pay is so bad for posting on sites with tens of thousands pf readers, you can imagine what the pay would be for posting on BellGab.

Yeah, I get what you're saying but, apparently, they think it's worth it. If they hire enough people to work the net, they can paste up a whole lot of smaller sites along with the biggies. You've got to also realize that this site is, or was, centered around Art Bell and C2C who is thought to be very influential. One of their targets. We're talking, or posting rather, so they are intervening.

If the 16 others that ran in the primaries couldn't beat Trump, they couldn't beat Hillary.

I'm afraid I must disagree with you on this one.  The dynamics of the primary are much different.  I think that most of the Rep. candidates that Trump defeated could have beaten Hilliary in a walk.  Trumps base is very loyal but not sufficiently broad.  After the party establishment cut him off at the knees there's going to have to be some major event or a flameout on Hilliary's part that depresses the dem turnout.  Of course I'll vote for him in preference to Hilliary but right now it doesn't look all that good.  However, recalling how in 1948 all the pundits and pollsters had Dewey defeating Truman hope springs eternal. There may be an underlying current of voter disenchantment with Hilliary that puts Trump over the top.

Before anyone asks, I don't actually remember the 1948 election I just know a little about it.

The gap between what is really going on, and what people think is going on, is absolutely enormous.

I'm honestly curious now-- where were you when you figured out they were lying to you about the Kennedy assassination?

In church with my wife on the day Ruby shot Oswald.  I remember having a conversation with several people on that day wherein I expressed that belief.  And that my friend is a no shitter.

Ask 136.  He knows.

You're alright in my book.

Moving on... how surprised were you when Reagan lived?

Jackstar

Hey, Pussygrin, who killed Kennedy? This is your shot at the big kids' table, put down the glue.

Not surprised.  Just thankful Al Haig was no longer in power.

He didn't. Bush's hitman actually succeeded. That other guy was just a look alike puppet, which explains why he couldn't remember anything. He was good though. Even Nancy never knew, though her astrologer did suspect this.  ;)

Jackstar

Sigh. Swine, meet pearls.

You hit the nail on the head about the establishment. That is what is wrong with both parties today. There is not much difference between then once they get into office. It is all about keeping their power and growing the federal government to centralize power in DC. There is a movement that started back in 2009 with the Tea Party. The GOP establishment co-opted it for the most part and even those elected as Tea Party candidates were made ineffective once they got to DC.

There is a lot of energy left in the core supporters for Trump. Will it be enough?  Only if people stay home instead of voting for Clinton. There is a real chance of that. Obama got 3.5 million less votes in 2012 than he did in 2008. Almost 11 million less votes were cast. I believe if anyone other than Romney ran, Obama would have lost.

If Clinton doesn't get 69 million votes to equal Obama in 2012, I think Trump wins. Only time will tell.

Bottom line is that in 2008 and 2012 the GOP establishment candidate got nominated and we lost to a first term senator with no experience and then to a failed first term president.
I am done listening to the establishment and the Kristols and Roves.

What if I told you, it was rigged then as well?

Trust your instincts. You know them to be true.

If you're asking me, the fact that he was pushed into the limo with his head in tact made everyone think initially that he wasn't hit.  The news bulletin appeared on the TV within minutes of the shooting and as I recall it was a full ten minutes after that they announced that he was actually hit and had been taken to  the D.C. Medical Center (or was Georgetown).   And everyone knows how it played after that.  I remember feeling super pissed off that another one of my President's had been shot.  I took it very personally.

chefist

He had a lot of what are now former friends there...his goal was to make them all squirm...he basically trolled the whole event... lolz

Yeah I pretty much agree with all you said. I keep waiting for Trump to drive the wooden stake through that vampires heart (figuratively speaking of course) and when she kept throwing him those high hanging curve balls last night I thought he just might break through, but,  no joy.  Oh well.

I don't get how you don't get that there are certain boundaries that may not be crossed without great calamity. Aren't you... old? Isn't there shit that you understand, like, automatically?
