Anything that contains “natural and artificial strawberry flavors” also contains castoreum, a liquid extracted from beaver anal glands. That’s what gives strawberry-flavored foods their punch.

Amazing , there must be enormous beaver farms all across the country in order to support all the strawberry flavored items in the market place

Trucks filled with beaver anal glands on their way to production plants everywhere to make our jam and cookies and strawberry soda and chewing gum and ice cream

All made possible by beaver anal glands

Chances are most of us have never , nor will ever ingest this seldom used substance

The first person to descend Niagara Falls in a barrel and survive was a woman named Annie Edson Taylor.  She did so on her 63rd birthday in 1901.

The last to try and fail was at about 6 this morning. Seems like Niagara EMS is picking bodies out of the Niagara River daily this summer.

Are these suicides widely reported? I know that suicide attempts off our largest bridge occur often but are never reported. I only know this because a cousin of a friend committed suicide this way and my friend was told of the numbers by the police investigating.

No, it is like suicides in subways in most cities. They try to avoid the copycats.
The problem here is that there are 3 casinos close to the falls. The 2 Canadian ones are a short (final) walk for the depressed.

I'm suddenly overjoyed that I've always hated artificial strawberry.

Red M&M's get their pigment from some bug they grind into a powder.

I didn't find out about 9/11 until three days after it happened.
Was dirt biking in northwest Australia, one of the least inhabited areas in the world.

I see it the opposite way. I love red M&Ms & strawberry jello. I now would like to sample the anal glands of more animals to see what delicious delicacies they will bring.

Hmm, not sure if this is a factual picture:

edit: looks like the USDA has them labeled for export, will you be sampling these should they end up in your neck of the woods?

Does that mean some pork rectums have bones?  And if so, is a person who removes them called a pork rectum boner?
