On Amazon Prime I have found the so far disturbingly creepy Fury of the Demon, a French language documentary with Anglais sub-titles about a screening of an old silent film in Paris a few years back.

This one is not going to put me to sleep, I think.

If one semi-understands French or can handle subtitles, I am recommending it.

Roz, you might appreciate this one I believe, but what do I know?

Randomly was suggested by a bot on Amazon:  "Funny Money" a Chevy Chase vehicle. Started slow. But he still has some chops for zany comedy. Not as good as others. Good character actors do well. But some good laughs, 'in these trying times.'

I saw Tenet on Monday night since cinemas have reopened with heavy restrictions (I think a capacity limit of 20 people per screening).

Christopher Nolan's latest, it deals with objects and people moving backwards in time and a Russian oligarch's attempts to use the time travel technology to erase existence. It does create a bit of an interesting plot and visual set pieces, but I'm not sure it was pulled off entirely successfully and there are maybe plot holes/paradoxes.

The biggest problem though is the sound mixing - and it was bad enough that a friend who had seen it previously warned me about it AND the cinema had a sign up at the ticket counter explaining that it's the movie and not them. The background audio is entirely too loud, and drowns out (often important) dialogue. It is also just loud in general, and I remember turning to my companion halfway through and saying "I feel like I'm at a rock concert".

Acting is generally passable, with the main lead (Denzel Washington's son) probably being the weakest in the film and Robert Pattinson stole the show.
Was nice to see Estonia feature heavily in a film other than Stalker.

I think I enjoyed it and will probably need to rewatch it, but preferably with subtitles.

Billion Dollar Hobo performed as hoped, mostly, last night;  fell asleep...  As a Tim Conway vehicle, it was amusing.  I kept harkening back to "The Jerk" at certain points...  I de-grease;  I am no jaw-less critic h/t to either Roger/Eibert whomsoever(?) panned these best.

I do note that there was some sort of neu film available on Amazon Prime that also reminded me of "The Jerk." :
