Hey friends,

I am curious to see if anyone has the episode with David Skal from 10/29/2002. I know it was not in the ultimate collection. Just thought I would ask.

Thanks guys,

Corey

if any of us had it, it would be in the torrent, sorry.

Jackstar

If a recording of it turns up, it would not be technically feasible to just add it to the .torrent, I don't think. I suppose that ability may have been invented, but the last time I looked at the protocol, it hadn't.

How many shows are missing at this point? That must be a cool list.

albrecht

I think this was a Noory show and the torrent is, I think, just Art Bell. But I will look around on my archives and see if I can find the show.

Hey, remember that one I was looking for? Well, now I have the first third. In a way, it's worse.

What date are you looking for? I agree partial shows are a cock tease and not the good kind either.

I'm still looking for the "feral human" show with Art and guest Jeff Holland back in 97. I swear I heard it and the interwebs show references to it but never able to find it on youtube, torrents, SIT replays, etc.

Didn't someone say before that one was in WillieDee's "Ultimate" torrent?

November 14, 1997. There's a nice copy of the first hour or so in the .torrent. The best parts I remember are, of course, farther towards the end.

November 16, 1997. The following Sunday, Dreamland is short. I don't know if it is cut off, or if that's all that they made. Dreamland was pre-recorded, wasn't it? And then sent to syndicated affiliates? I don't remember, if I ever knew. I'm not even sure if Art took calls on Dreamland.

Lights over Northwest shows?

I also only have small segments of those shows.

I'll keep an eye out.

Here's what it sounds like: "They've got I-90 closed off with these miltary trucks, and they're picking up debris off the bridge deck." Or maybe it doesn't, it was a long time ago. Maybe I hallucinated that part? Well if only someone, somewhere, managed to record this show, just like all the fucking rest, we can put the matter to rest.

Lights over Northwest shows?

Just remembered this.  Did you ever hear about a star that could go hypernova any day now?  They was saying on Cosmos a month or so ago that it would be visable only in the southern hemisphere, and would be around the brightness of our moon.  Don't know for sure if stuff like that interests you or not...

"Send a picture or video to Keith, and he'll put it up on my website."

Hello Corey, I do have that show - it's Noory.

I guess you're looking too albrecht.  The one I have is 2:51 in length so it's the full show.

Hi J. Those partial shows about Lights over the Northwest were from me - I acquired them in 2006.   Danged if I know why they're partial..  but sometime in 2008 I had a hard drive mishap and a bunch of shows I had were trashed that weren't backed up, and I think those were among the casualties or partial casualties.

Nov. 16 seems to end the topic at the first segment - first half-hour. Next it goes to Mark Ritchie.  Would love to hear that one...

Both shows, Nov. 14 and Nov. 16, were sold on tape by Premiere, so they may yet turn up...

Dreamland was pre-recorded on the Friday before the Sunday broadcast, but I'm not sure when that started - at least in 1998, maybe earlier.

Jackstar

Wow! Hi! Thank you!

So, did you have these shows in a longer format before, and then the files broke, or did you get them broken?

Sold American! What do you mean, they're not for sale? Of course they are for sale.

For some reason only the first hour (news and open lines) was recorded (8/18/97) and that much is in the torrent but no more.

I think it was a whole show that partially bit the dust - as I ended up with other partials that previously had all their parts - but can't say for sure any more with respect to that particular one.  Yes, frustrating...

The Nov. 14, 16 are in the old listings (After Dark, etc.), is what I meant.

Sadly some of my favorite shows are missing.

Many of the SIT from the Noory Show site are ones not found in torrents ETC. It's like they fill in the blank dates you don't find in the torrents.. I record them all and commercial edit all the (looking for the truth bullshit ETC) out and get them as close as I can to just Art. If only all this time I had been dating them it would make life easier to make a torrent.

I have them all titled like novels, no dates. So I will have some work to do to get them shared.. dammit. 5 4 94 played tonight, that's one more not found anywhere but the site, although that particular episode is a lemon compared to most.
