I say Hello to community,

My name is true, because I think I can made responsible for all, what I write here and 71 years should be enough to earn a honorable name. I came there occasionally hitting the ..universe.. thread in the web, to further collect contributions to my favorite project as a hobby mathematician and physicist, a discrete model of universe, I offer in my topic, and thereby supporting a really good forum.

I have to apologize, that contributions are under moderation, but there was from the beginning some annoying unnecessary remarks, that could others make avoiding my topic.

I hope, I am welcome, please let me be your guest.

I am glad to be member of your community.

Everyone is welcome. But welcome has many meanings here. Hope you have fun.

Tarbaby

Bienvenido,Rudy! As they say, "post often! Post often!"you might like the "astrophysics and cosmology" thread.

Dear Onan,

Your response sounds a little bit threatening or in a better understanding as a warning. Please clarify for me, what special meaning (s) of welcome you had in mind and the fun I should have here could be in the worst case in your opinion. And please, avoid a response like: you will see yourself, as this would not be helpful. Or otherwise, why you obviously intended to let me in uncertainty about.

Thank you for your cooperation, best regards, Rudolf Zlabinger   ;D

Juan

Welcome, Rudolph.  I'm glad to see someone older than me on this forum. Geezers unite.

Dear Tarbaby,

Thank you for your friendly acceptance. Astrophysics and cosmology was the search engines reference, which directed me to the forum.

For my project however the discussion in this thread is far away from the basics I want to discuss in my topic, so apologize me to have set a new topic for it, not to intermix the basics with the advanced details discussed in astrophysics and cosmology, which could in the best case be issues not before after a long and complex development of the model towards a usable theory.

Thank you, also for your understanding for my decision,  best regards, Rudolf Zlabinger :)

Do not worry, Sir. It was merely an attempt at humor.

Rudy:

Based on where you reside, you, of all people, should know that, "A cigar is sometimes just a cigar." (even though likely apocryphal)

(also not sure if my comment will withstand the rigors regarding Teutonic translation of humor)

Sorry.  We've all been a little jumpy since that Hitler thing happened.

Sorry.  We've all been a little jumpy since that Hitler thing happened.

Although I deeply regret the history of Austria between 1938 and 1945, and already before: At the end I was 2 years old, and because of the resistance of my parents against Hitler as they was royalists and catholics it was quite uncertain that I stay alive. It will never be forgot.

Thank you for recognizing me as a member, warm regards, Rudolf

just in the event it hasn't been mentioned, i offer this advice after years on the forums...

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

Actually, better beware of the ones who aren't strange - they're probably government operatives.

Roswells, Art

Hi!

I suppose I should introduce myself.  I have been reading this forum ever since I found it while trying to find more information on Art Bell. It all started way back in the spring of '13.  I remember it like it was last year. It's true.  I had never listened to Coast to Coast though I had heard about it back in the 90's.  Then one night in 2013 while laying in bed and looking for an Old Time Radio program to fall asleep to on Tunein.com I came across the Fine Art stream.  Tunein has photos of album covers cycling on the screen that you can click on to listen to the album and at the time I happened to be looking at it the Fine Art stream picture popped up.  It was the picture of an ovoid granite rock on a field of green that made me pause.  I pondered the picture for a few minutes then decided to listen to it. I figured I would give the stream five minutes to reel me in then if it didn't I would move on.  I thought it was going to be about art, like paintings, and figured since the picture was so intriguing the stream might be too.  Well I was half right.  Within that five minutes I was hooked.  The next morning I put Art on my house computer and it became my soundtrack throughout the summer and beyond.  I listened to it almost constantly, ha ha.  It even hooked my roomate.

So, to the one person (if I'm lucky)  that is probably still reading this post, Hi, and I guess I'll go on.

Since finding this site I must have read about half of the entire forum. I have to say it has been entertaining and interesting to boot. I read threads from page one and am about 100 pages from finishing the GeorgeNoorySucks thread, which by the way, I want to turn into a screenplay, ha ha.  I think Agnes Moorehead (if she were still among the living)  would be perfect for Lily.  I think other Old Time Radio fans would probably understand why.  (She played crazy quite well).  Sardondi could be played by Raymond Burr. Valdez= Edward R. Murrow. I think Aldous could probably just play himself.  I have people for everyone, even the single posters. Scifiwriter=Darryl Hannah  ;D.

Anyway my fingertips are getting worn out.  I just wanted to say hello (which I guess is three times so far in one post). I've read what some have you posted since the site started so I feel like I kind of know you and wanted to out myself so I didn't feel like such an eavesdropper.

Ros

P.S.  I think my next post might be in the Your Supernatural Experiences thread, I'd like to read your take on mine.

Roswells, Art

Oh and I forgot to mention.  Whomever had that Fine Art stream going I should thank and tell him or her that she or he is directly responsible for creating at least one Art Bell fan.  So thanks, whomever you are.

Welcome, Ros!  Be careful, though, because this damn site is more addictive than crack and almond M&Ms combined!   :D

Bart Ell

Watch out for Australians asking to trade nude pics. The ones he sends in return are not of him. I found this out by doing a reverse image search and confirming he was using pics from a New Zealander!

Warm greetings. (paraphrased for brevity)
Hello, and welcome... good luck on your adventure as a post-voyeur. I think the way you oriented your screen name, with the comma is tremendous. It looks like Art himself is logged in when you look at the members online list. Classic, classic, classic.

For your screenplay, I'd look towards IMAX as the release format seeing as how the GNS thread is so big!.

;)

Yeah, I noticed. hehe.  It's The Perfect Storm of....something, not sure what though.  By the way, I much preferred the regular M&M's, the almond was just wasting space where chocolate should be.  Ooh, I'm already so controversial.  ;D

Thank you for the warning but it's OK, I don't mind if they come from New Zealand.

Thanks  :) yeah I'm working on the Theory of Everything, I'll let you know my findings then you'll only have one thing to worry about.

It would be so fun to make, hehe.  I've read some of your Jorch's eye pad submissions and wonder if you would like a comic I read back in the early 90's called Stick Boy

Hi and thank you.  I have to admit that the way I put my screen name was not as creative as you might think.  I have a problem with commas, lol. I think I may use them a bit too freely. And yes, totally IMAX, but that sounds expensive, hehe.  I think this idea would work even as a radio play with George Noory droning on in the background....ah...if only.

From what I've read in these forums you were on C2Cam with Art three times but I have only heard the one where you call him from a pay phone and talk about how you were able to get your call through.  You reminded me of someone that could have been one of my friends way back when.  I went to Venice Beach once back in the 90's too, I wonder if we ever walked past each other back then. When I was there there were a lot of street performers, one I remember would walk behind an oblivious tourist and mimic everything that person did, it was pretty funny because there was a crowd watching him and after a while the tourist would wonder why there were so many people laughing in his direction then turn around and see the dude behind him.  They seemed to take it well.  It was funny, this was before youtube.

Also I would love to make your spherical fidget for myself. It is so cool.  My roommate happens to be a bike mechanic so I could get the parts from him.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Ros

No worries!  Everyone's addictions are different so there's no point quibbling about them.  I prefer almond M&Ms and crack, others are hooked on Skittles and meth or Oxy.  It's what makes the world such an exciting and interesting place!
