I would suspect the best excuse for the RFID tracking chip will be "for the children" (I want to be able, and the police to be able, to track my child lest the pedophile hiding behind every tree takes them) and for convenience (I can auto-pay everything.) Maybe, they will use the security excuse (now police can tell I'm not a terrorist/keep the illegals out) but I'm guessing "for the children" is the one that will work. Then a generation, most will accept the chip as normal.

Anything is possible. But you are talking about the same mind set that think vaccines are poison. Somehow, I think those people will believe there is harmful radiation in that RFID.

True, we already do it (outside the body) to certain offenders on parole, probation, home confinement, etc.

Also true, "those people" who are anti-vaccine would likely not chip themselves (they already talk about the RFID chip and "beast chip".) But they are a minority. Most people would accept it, and just about anything, if it is "for the children" or makes their life more convenient.
