Bundy’s remarks clearly state he is concerned for the welfare of young black men who are being jailed at an alarming rate and the black babies being killed en masse, which the media somehow thinks is racist.
It’s not surprising that one of the first newspapers to run with the Bundy-racist angle was the New York Times, one of the federal government’s most notorious propaganda arms.
Like the infamous letter making its rounds in Ukraine purportedly telling Jewish people they needed to register with the pro-Russian government, which was later admitted to be a forgery, the media’s attempts to portray Bundy as racist reeks of media manipulation.
Just recently, the New York Times was forced to print a retraction of their report that purported to show photographic proof that Russian troops were in Ukraine.

Your point about one's beliefs, opinions, and speech being separate from the issue of the BLM and government actions. Unfortunately, these days in many countries it is actually illegal to express one's political, religious, or even racist opinions and the leftists, oddly since they call themselves liberal, in the US also wish for us to take up the  mantle of outlawing what they dub "hate speech". The real question is why do to the Feds own so much of the land in some Western States (notice you don't see this happening in, say, Massachusetts...or even Texas. And the dispute over the grazing rights, and fees, and environmental rules. It doesn't matter what Bundy thinks or if he was replaced with Farrakhan or John Africa.  The government shouldn't escalate, bring in snipers, or helicopters and shoot animals for civil violations. I guess, but it is an almost daily occurrence to have snipers and other paramilitary-style police even involved in what used to be relatively benign policing actions or events. The militarization of the police on almost all levels and the "us vs them" mentality instilled in some police departments and especially in the Federal government agencies is not a good thing.

However, your statement about more "crime" in the "inner cities" is actually incorrect.  On a per capita basis, the average midwest mid size suburb actually experiences more drug abuse, sexual abuse, and property crime than the average "inner city" and way more per capita than New York.

Good. Glad they were able to stop bloodshed. The Feds should give the land back to the state or auction it off for private ownership. No reason why they need to own so much of it. If a solar company wants to set up shop let them buy the land at market prices and set up their deal. If a rancher wants it let him bid of it or negotiate with the state for use.
