I have learned so much about water it scares the living hell out of me and it should scare everyone. People have no clue how bad things are or how close we are to losing major cities. All I can say is you might want to start looking into it your self!!1

They built a desalination plant down in San Diego for $1 billion just recently. People thought it was a waste of money at the time but its looking more and more like a good decision.

I was just doing some quick math and it looks like $1 billion in desalination facilities supplies water for 250,000 people. To supply the water for Los Angeles with desalination would cost $52 billion.
