Well, I did finally stop wearing my shirt that says

I'm an Irish Catholic and am tired of being marginalized, so I get the gay rights anti discrimination issues, even though I condemn their behavior.

So the Irish in me, in protest won't be going to the AZ Super Bowl if the anti gay bill passes.
And the Catholic part in teaches me to be accepting of everyone, so I could go if the bill passes.

....some days I'd rather be a gay and just hate everyone else.

Wouldnt make sense to pull the plug unless they relocating the team in Arizona as well. You have a franchise there they have a right to host the Super Bowl.

Actually makes perfect sense; the NFL is saying they value inclusiveness and respect for all fans and players rather than respecting exclusivity and discrimination.

Property rights be damned; human rights come first.  (so does a power top - sorry the pig in me couldn't resist.)

I don't follow. If gay behavior offends me, I have no right to not be offended. If you find religious behavior offensive, you have no right to not be offended. I think the law is addressing freedom of association arising from some court decisions in other places. The one that comes to mind is a baker who refused to bake a cake for a gay couples wedding due to his religious beliefs. He was sued and the court said he had to bake the cake, religion be damned. When the rights of one group become government sanctioned over the rights of another, there is trouble ahead for all of us.

as a side note , i dont care what religion you  are or if your gay or not. i dont intentionally force my beliefs on anyone else, i expect to not have theirs forced upon me. govt has no place in religion, other than to enforce that you can worship as you please , or not at all if thats your wish.

as far as the nfl pulling out of AZ, i thought being gay meant never having to pull out.
