Looks like a great idea.  I hope it can become reality.  I'm not sure how they expect to get signals back into space, but I look forward to when wifi is globally available at no charge.   Very Star Trek-ish.

Will be interesting to see how the people who claim WiFi, and similar emanations, are dangerous will react to this. Also I wonder what alphabet agencies will be using this to monitor and data-mine people.

Turning Earth into one giant wifi hotspot will open us up to attack. From alien hackers.  And they might not be white hat.  Helmet. Head.  Whatever.

On second thought, maybe this isn't such a good idea.  I can imagine Jazmunda downloading a shitload of gay pornography, sucking up the entire bandwidth and crashing the whole damned thing.   God-damnit, Jazmunda.  This is why we can't have nice things.

Hmmmm, Daily Mail... I wouldn't take anything published in that as being true. If they said the sky was blue I'd check it myself.
