I would give him more credit if that what it was. Granted Turkey still around but Ripple hasn't been around in a few decades. You can't even find a bottle of it anywhere and even images of it! Except a few tv image captures from an old Sanford episode. It is the mystery wine that, existed I know, but no proof anymore of it! Sorta weird. Mickeo Kaku has to explain that! One can still, (I think) if so desires, go to certain parts of town and find Wild Irish Rose, Mad-dog, Nighttrain, or Thunderbird (no longer "what's the price, thirty twice") but no Ripple anywhere!!

Check out some of his history on this board and you might reverse that opinion.  George is many things, genuine is not one of them.

It's funny, when I first started becoming a Bell/Coast fan around '02 - '03 thanks to pirate downloading was right around the time Noory was becoming host. I've always been a big fan of online forums and naturally went looking for C2C forums. There used to be tons of them back in the day. And I remember as the show started to shift towards George being the main host there was initial positivity with the thought that he'll get it right eventually. Then it was like a civilization wide type of pandemic hit C2C forums when they started realizing Noory was terrible and it was just going to get worse and Noory's suckfest literally murdered dozens of C2C communities back in the day as people just stopped caring. George Noory murdered the C2C community like a european virus going through an ancient Central American civilization.

This place was like a weird lifeboat for Bell/C2C fans with maybe one new post a day and largely just a small collection of C2C rebels. It's interesting to have watched it grow so much.
