Typical, even when the bassist and drummer are hot chicks, they still get ignored by the cameras!
These girls rock by the way. Nice skills all around!

That is the stupidest fuckin thing I have seen in my life.  What was the point of replicating the song exactly?  Not only note for note, but every note from every instrument and every vocal inflection exactly as the original?  Why bother?

If you're going to cover a song, do something different with it other than being an echo.

The founder is from the SF Bay area.  And that's all the time I'm going to waste reading their bio.

This band is nothing without the hot chick novelty.  Which isn't to say that aren't good.  They do a good reproduction of the LZ IV recording but don't bring anything new to it.

I guess you're not a fan of  tribute bands then.
I agree in part, but it's impressive, to me anyway, how well they duplicated a very cool Zeppelin  song. Most tribute bands blow and it's kind of creepy when they try to imitate every single manorism of the musicians.
I recall a story about a Doors tribute band where the singer thought & acted as if he were the real Jim Morrison, on and off the stage. Creepy! He climbed to the top of the main pa cabinets and broke a bunch of stuff as he  fell off the stage. idiot.

Why do they do it you ask, probably because they aren't as successful writing original material. Some of the better tribute bands tour all over the country and people treat them like rock stars. Granted, they play clubs and casinos, but they are working musicians. It's a nostalgia factor for the audience as well.  There is definitely a buck to be made for some of these bands.

B_dubb and I talked about starting a Captin and Tenille tribute band, but he refuses to wear the Blond wig. Buzz kill! Plus a captins hat will mess up my hair! :)

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea that this was on YouTube.  Zeppelin's version of this song is remarkably different from the original.  Zepparella's ... not so much.  I agree with DPS.

Wouldn't they then be equally different from the original?

I am not sure Zepparella is aware that the LZ song is a cover.  Or if they care.

Led Zeppelin didn't do covers... they did "uncredited until we get sued borrows"

Haven't you heard the saying, "two wongs don't make a white"?

You forgot this sign at all of our airports.

They didn't have to quote the PM verbatim. Could have watered it down a bit.

My apologies, I thought that was some sort of "Say No To Overeating" campaign.

Fun.  Does anybody remember laughter?

Ya know, I absolutely love tribute bands.  It's very difficult to exactly reproduce a song.  There are a lot of famous bands that couldn't even faithfully reproduce their own studio material in a live setting.  And the point?  It's great fun to hear music you love being performed live... no longer an option in the case of bands like Zeppelin and the Beatles.  I love Beatles tribute bands, they are giving you an experience that you otherwise could never have, the opportunity to hear the music being performed live.  And as for Zeperella, they're good musicians.  Especially the harmonica player, that is not easy to do.

Why, because they're girls?
Or are you just jealous because they're better musicians than you?
They could probably school you on the subject.

I'd certainly let them school me.

I believe I made my point clear but I will make it clearer: their "cover" is a replica and I would like to see them make it their own which indicate creativity and not just technical ability.
