Who is going to win the super bowl? The SeaChickens or the my little ponies from denver?

I think oddsmakers are saying Broncos but I have to say Seahawks because of where I live. I will probably listen to at least part of it on the radio. I suppose it will be on in the evening since NY is 3 hours earlier.
I don't care about football but people in Everett are so Seahawk crazy I stopped fighting it.

Yeah, I quit fighting it too.  ;D  When you live in the area with a team going to the Super Bowl, it's kind of hard not getting into the spirit of things.  I'm behind the Seahawks 100%. I haven't watched a SB in at least a decade.

Maybe, maybe not.  It seems to be about everything but football.  Commercials, junk food, and booze.  Pro football sure isn't what it used to be.  I miss the days of Butkus and Starr.

The General

The thought of watching Pro Sports makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a rusty nail.

Pffffffff this super bowl is going to be a joke. Everyone knows the fix is in and that Jesse Ventura paid off the operators of the HARP Antennae so that he can control the weather  and pack that stadium with snow! Peyton Manning also tested positive for Anunaki DNA!

steelbot

I will be watching, I called Denver was going to make it after their start (after my team went 0-4 (steelers)- thought the 49'ers on NFC side but to no avail.  I'm more excited for hockey (olympic hockey) and the wrapping up of Football season.

I'm sure some puffing of kind herbs will be introduced at some point in the evening.  That's about all for me.

You mean there's a football game in between all those great expensive commercials?

Which Super Bowl?  The one I'll be pufficating or the one I'll watch if you pay me 50 bucks?

What else do I get for the $50?

Manning is tough to stop so I'd say Denver.  Plus his Buick commercials don't suck as much as that wretched train jumping Nissan commercial.  Nissan could actually build a really nice car with the amount of money they've spent for air time for that BS.

I'm a broncos fan. Have been for almost 20 years! I am really looking forward to the game!
It should be a good one because both teams have been on a roll. It might come down to a special teams play or a turnover/mistake late in the game.
The Seahawks defence is really good & worries me for the health of our aging QB (Manning).
Cold/bad weather has proven to be Manning's Achilles heel, but Manning and the Broncos have something to prove this year.

My prediction: 27-23 Broncos.
(I consulted Ed Dames)

I'll just leave this here:

Huh.  The two states that have legalized pot are getting together for a "super bowl."

Who's performing at Halftime?

This past weekend it was Macklemore and Ann Wilson(Heart) sang the national anthem.

The best thing about that commercial is the disclaimer at the end. It says something similar to : Do not try. This is fantasy. Cars cannot jump trains.  :o Thanks for clearing that one up, Nissan, because I really wasn't sure...

As for football and the Superbowl......meh.

I'm going for the Broncos too. Manning has 2 weeks to figure out that defense. As long as they can stop the run they should be fine. Seattle looks like a tough team but take a look at the cupcake schedule they played. Save for a few teams like the saints (who they played at home twice) I hope Manning gets another ring.

Lived in Denver for 19 years (was there for the back-to-back wins in 1998 - 1999) ... although have so many friends in the Seattle area now ... dilemma of who I want to win .. but this year, I will watch game (and not only for the commercials) ...

and not only because of this ....

It's safe to say it won't be The Captain and Tennille.  If being in their seventies and not exactly trendy isn't enough.

Get ready for Noory to break out the "Muskrat Love" for tonight's show.  Oh, seems like I heard Bruno Mars is suppose to show up at halftime.  Meh.

$700.00 a seat... cheap seats... Yeah, I'm there.

Who wants to be in New Jersey in February, anyway?  I'm pretty sure I don't want to be in New Jersey anytime during the year.

Yorkshire pud

It'll be broadcast late at night here. I'll watch the highlights at half time when whoever sings get's her tits out. Even if it's Billy Joel.

The tickets are dirt cheap, relatively speaking, and I was strongly considering going, but the cold weather is just too much.

Super Bowl party at the Elk`s Club!

Dudes chasing a ball, and other dudes talking about it, on tv, while thousands of other dudes pay to watch the dudes chasing a ball.   :(

While I ride a bike and see their wimmens out jogging.  Excellent!

I NEED to post one more for luck. My OCD tells me if I don't post my favorite NFL team's logo, in duplicate, slightly altered, on a Art Bell fan site, with a misspelling, someting bad might happen. :o
It's only weird if it doesn't work!

"Footsie ball"- as the soccer great Pelé pronounces it!! have fun, everyone! ;D ;D

Ms. C

Here is my Zack (who now resides at the Rainbow Bridge) when we lived in Denver ... I was there for their back-to-back wins in 98-99!
