He's the new drive time host on KTTH. Has anybody heard him? What do you think? Do you think his coming on board has anything to do with the influence Michael Medved wields at KTTH? Or do you believe that Medved wields a lot of influence? I'll let you know what I think if there's sufficient interest in this thread.

I didn't much care for him.  He likes to try to do lame voice imitations and politically he brings nothing new to the table.  He's mediocre.  A tassle-shoed republican hack albeit a younger one.  He is very obviously Medved's understudy.  Medved wields a lot of influence over KTTH, they would otherwise be running Savage live instead of Medved.  As it is now they run Savage, who's ratings are way bigger than MM, from 9pm to midnight.  I email them a lot.  I think they hate me and/or have my email blocked because they have never, ever once responded to my emails.

     I just saw his "book" at a Public Library selloff for .50 cents. Another shameless jerk who has about six weeks of radio experience, and even less life experience who gets a book deal from a World Net Daily type of publisher. He makes Glenn Beck look like Voltaire.

He's growing on me a bit. I really didn't like him at first, but I think he's getting better. I just wish he'd learn to pronounce the names of Washington towns.  :  I definitely think he's Medved's protege.

Oh, cripes, everybody has trouble with those when they first come here. Puyallup. Sequim. Enumclaw. Somebody even told me I was emphasizing the wrong Walla. Just be glad we don't have to hear Noory stumbling through them. Michael Savage invented his own way of pronouncing Enumclaw when discussing the unfortunate horse sex story.

Actually Shapiro is less of a tassle-shoe than I thought he would be. Nevertheless, I usually listen to Levin. Only when Levin has one of his usually awful fill-ins do I listen to Shapiro.
Actually a lot of the time I'm not even home at that time.
My ex bf also thought that Medved was behind the KTTH decision to dump Savage. As I understand it,  Medved is on the Salem network, but we don't get any other Salem hosts on KTTH. (I'd trade 10 Medveds or 5 Hugh Hewitts for one Dennis Prager) It's a bit confusing. There is a Salem station in Seattle, 1590, but it's too weak to get in downtown Everett. Actually, you can get it, but it's very weak and staticky. If I got a C Crane radio I could probably get it.
