Well, it doesn`t originate in a varmit, so we`re all okie-dokie with it.

Why do you hate maple trees?

Because they aren`t blue.

I kind of thought that was obvious.

Actually, we get our bacon from Denmark.

I'm shattered*, utterly shattered....

*I hope that doesn't mean something completely different in the UK. If so, I meant to say I was gutted and apologize for profanity this early in the morning. However, my admiration for English bacon remains.

You can get British bacon though.  :)

Shattered is a good stab. Listen to any football manager or player (the top 1% who can string words of more than two syllables together) and they have any variation of shattered/ gutted/ sick as a parrot after losing.

Oops! Don't want to leave Bob G or my Welsh cousins out!  ;)

Call it Second Sight, but as soon as I typed that, I knew I was in trouble. ;D

I hate the smell of bacon. Yes haters, I'm a vegetarian, well over 30 years.

You're not marinading them are you? You can't eat them raw, they'll give you a stomach upset, similar to raw turkey.

I thought about becoming a vegetarian, until I realized I couldn't eat meat.

They do smell kind of funky.  Like ripe tofu or some kind of cheese product.  Not as bad as old people but they do have a distinct smell.

Now Canadians have a slightly sweet, smoky flannel aroma.

No, seriously. They rip the most amazing farts.

Although that anti-meat dude w/JB Wells made me want to make some jerky out of someone.

Haven't been to Cousin Jack's yet. Went to Lefty's, a nice place with a stream running under it. Butternut/spinach tortellini yeh. South Pine Cafe is always a winner for breakfast or lunch. Most of the eatery joints in this area have "vegetarian" selections (hipster plague) but I've never had a problem eating any and everywhere. Except maybe South Texas where every meal seems to require some organ or other body part in order to be considered food.

Wow! Thirty years! Huge props, my man. I'm only 3 years as a strict vegan....absolutely the BEST thing I ever did was going 100% plant-based.

The only person that I know who has done it longer than you, is my mother, and she has been a full-fledged vegetarian for nearly 50 years now. Long into her 80' s, she still volunteers, and works part time as a veterinarian assistant, looks about 50something, and takes no medications at all.

Pork is generally pretty disgusting. Smoked turkey is nice though. I tried vegetarianism a while back. Wasn't suited for it or I was doing it wrong.

Yeh, I still out work, out play, and out the other thing compared to the twenty-some-years-younger carnivores I am embeded with. I'm up 3 hrs. before the rest of the wolf pack and down at the same time. I ride my bike up to 70 miles per day while still getting my very physical ranch chores done. I can only assume that it's hard to keep up your strength running all that heavy shit through the system. I am not a PETA-type dude (raised a hunter) or really any kind of "health theory" eater. I just love growing and harvesting my own food, eat everything I desire, and it sucks to clean out animal carcasses. Also, hate the smell of fish even moreso than bacon.

Canada is less densely populated, and therefore the Canadians are tastier because they have more room to roam about-similar to "free-range chickens."
Indeed, this is THE single biggest reason.  Canadians are the free-range people of North America.
I think Epic Meal Time (Youtube Channel), a show about extravagant cooking and eating. Those tasty Canadians know what's up!

I guess that the people who live in Mississippi taste like crap and is bad to eat because they are fat.

This is just a bacon thread.

Fuck bacon, I'd eat people if it was socially acceptably. As far as my fellow Canadians go about 1/3 of you are watered down socialist pussies. The tofu kind Aldous mentioned but he's a vegetarian so I'm confused as usual.

xoxo

MMM, are the Canadians made of Tofu? As you know Tofu goes with just about everything even BACON.

Americans, please don't vomit up (deport) Beiber now that he's been busted in Miami.  You made him rich and famous, you need to keep him!!

Point of etiquette: we've had 11" of snow so far, and will have much, much more. In case the supermarkets run out of food, when is it socially acceptable to begin cannibalizing my tasty Canadian neighbors? With the exception of Justin Bieber, of course. I have no desire to hack up a hair ball.
