I went to a GPAA Gold Show a few years ago.  Cody Moen, one of the crew members of the "Christine Rose" dredge on Discovery's "Bering Sea Gold" was there selling his own merchandise and t-shirts.  I highly doubt that the items he was selling (at least at that time - just after the show's first season) were sanctioned by the dredge's owners, but he was capitalizing on his new found fame.

Similarly, George might be able to parlay his increasing fame, notoriety, and credibility from his association with George Noory and "Coast To Coast AM" into appearance fees and income earning opportunities at future paranormal or sci-fi conventions.  I wish him well in these endeavors, and hope that he will find the success that he's been seeking.

Only if someone holds his hand and does it for him.

You would think any condition to Falkie's payment would be removal of his anti-Noory and anti-C2C videos.

Someone has already noted earlier that the videos accusing Patti of pretty heinous crimes have mysteriously vanished.

What do you think Falkalicious is going to get out of this deal?  A couple hundred bucks a month at most?  I think he is looking at this thing as a stepping stone and hopes he will eventually get more time on air, maybe get his own show.  He's gonna have to show some initiative.  Gerry is right, in order for him to capitalize at this point, he will have to hustle and sell some T-shirts, make some appearances, etc.  I have to think that GN, while wanting to help Falks, has to have an appreciation for paying one's dues though.  It is really generous for him to give Falke a bump, a bit of a push but Falkie is going to have to pick up the baton and run with it.

So she calls her back and says.

" I found you a car.
   They only want $ 500. "

So Kathy asks her where is it, since she has $ 750 right now.

" Its in MINNESOTA.
  We can DRIVE there ! "

Is it unheard of for people to buy a car from another state and drive it home?  What kind of car was it?  I bought a Honda Accord in west Montana for $750 and drove it home to Kansas once.  We had that car eleven years and the transmission went out of it.  It saw us through our college years and it made it back and forth from Montana three times, many times from Minnesota to Kansas over the years.  We had 288,000 miles plus on that baby.  One of the best cars we ever owned.  We loved it so much that we contemplated putting another transmission in it.  Still, I see your point, probably some decent deals in your neck of the woods.

I think that if this is the price range that Kathy is interested in looking for a car in, then it wouldn't be worth the gas, hotel, and food costs that would be added for the round trip cross-country to make it worth her while.  Otherwise, she could potentially have up to $1,500 to spend on a car in the local area.  We already know that she is not a reliable driver.  I don't know that she (and/or Patty) should be causing havoc for the rest of the general public on America's highways!  Keep her local where she belongs.

Perhaps some may remember my tale of the young guy that sits next to me at work.  He is a hot shot that they hired out of a top
university, gave him a huge signing bonus, plus like a 6 month delay start date to enjoy it.   Since he has started work he's been
on a huge bender - NC isn't exactly Las Vegas but I was worried the guy was going to party out and crash totally.

Well in a fascinating development the team we work with in China needs help badly.  They wanted to send me for 3 months but
my kid has her senior prom coming up, plus she is graduating from high school soon.  They didn't want to go thru the expense of flying me
back and forth several times.   So they sent the lad!  If he was coming unglued in NC just imagine what will happen in Shanghai.

This will not end well.  When something juicy happens I'll post an update.

My paranormal forum administrator lives in St. Paul which is at least a 1,000 miles away.

The Ratty One drives a 16 year old Toyota with no shocks.
And she bitches about gas money when she drives Kathy to the store.
She'd expect Kathy to pay all the expenses.
To go that far for a $ 500 crap mobile is insane.
Patty says stuff without thinking of what it means to actually put things into motion.
We took a train to Sacramento to get our first Prius and got picked up by the car dealer who sold it to us.
There is no way in hell Kathy would ever do something like this.

1965.49 miles from San Francisco to Minneapolis.
29 hours by road and 90 gallons of gas.
