As a guy with tens of thousands of baseball cards, they aren't worth dick.

At one time I was going to use them to pay for my doctorate.

Can't imagine Falkie's comics would have much value in 2016.

And what the hell is Hamm's Beer Commercials?  ???

Falkie has claimed the collection would be worth millions today. He has also said what some of the books were and I know the comic book market. IF he had what he said he had and IF they were in mint condition after fires, evictions, living in a car and what not over the last 50 years the books would go for tens to hundreds of thousands. It would me some money but not even close to a million let alone millions.

What were the issues? Do you remember?

Unfortunately, Bloody Kathy was finally able to get in touch with Patty after she moved away. Patty then drove 30 miles to take Kathy to the hospital. Patty will soon be called more vile names because appreciation is not a concept they practice.
Should I read that using the English or American meaning.  Never mind, either is funny.

Falkie's mom is quite a thorn in his side.  Without her he would...well he wouldn't exist.

An excellent point.  No matter how much our Ma's drove us crazy, ya still gotta love 'em anyway.  Even the baddest bad boy loves his Ma.

Every boy of Falkie's vintage has a story that their mom threw out some priceless item on par with an ancient Egyptian artifact.

Didn't your Mom do that?  Good God, mine sold a ton of my stuff at garage sales.  My prized possession;  A handsome tooled  leather two gun rig, handmade, complete with two genuine Ponyboy cap pistols, and I even had several Ponyboy spares still in their original packaging.  Gone now...all gone...sniff.

I also had a pretty large collection of those Mego dolls back in the day...Spidey, Hulk, Falcon, Green Goblin, Thing, Iron Man, etc....garage sale!!!  Whoozit's post made me want to give Ma a call..Now, I ain't gonna call that old bag! ;)

"And for your information, I had the first appearance of

the JLA
Green Lantern, not the 40's
Daredevil,
Fantasic Four
Xmen
Spider Man
and numerous more, all read only once and kept in my giant Operation Moon Base box."

I do not believe he had all of those, if any, but the highest sale for all of them is millions but that is in 9.5 condition or better. That is better than brand new.
They would be books that were perfectly preserved for 5o years, not tossed in a toy box under a bed.

Recently a copy of Amazing Fantasy 15 in 9.4 condition sold for $400,000. There are only 4 known copies in the world in that grade range.

3OctaveFart

Hell, yes. My Star Wars toys, which I would have liked for my own son.

But you laugh it off and pour out a beer over it and move on. Falkie is still talking about it.

My mom (and Dad) kept my Atari 2600 and all my game cartridges.  I got them back a few years ago and the rig still works.  Not worth much but it is still great to have.

Indeed.  I forgive you mom!

Rally Squirrel:
If they meant that much to him they would not be stored at his mother's.

I don't know the grading system for comics, but a serious collector is not looking at anything a hair under mint these days.

Aw...poor Patty. The woman is a saint. I wish I could give her a hug. I'm glad she was able to get away from that ungrateful, misogynistic pig, Senda and his half-witted SO.
Your just pissed because Falkie would not have any thing to do with your you tube vids

If you are really a friend of Senda's then your name is Easy Mark. How much have you given him so far?
in honesty I gave him a few buck's, to help him out, not a sum worth bragging about.

ALL of the Hamm's bear beer commercials in black and white and color along with other commercials of the era for beer, cereal, car rentals and the like.
Kathy and  I like the Hamm's bear. She thinks he's cute.

Yeah, I tried to suggest that he could make some coin and improve his financial situation by selling some items.  I did that a year ago and did well.  He got a bit cranky with me and assured me that his financial troubles were temporary.
well a quick sale is best on the net but falkie would loose like 30% to amazon, or ebay i guess. Martinez is a small town he would have drive to a lot of places in the big cities to try to get a mediocre price for them, I know it's hectic I use to sell and manufacture firearms, but the permits, and insurance was killing me. I know it's a different subject but it takes time to sell items in a market for top dollar.

George, Why are you an apple guy when it comes to computers and not Windows PC??

I swore off of pc's when I had a Compaq that was lemon since the day I got it new and it was running Windows ME.

You manufactured firearms?  Interesting.
