Yeah yeah.. all true; but it doesn't address you being a grasping twat.

And he didn't address it...

Let me ask you an earnest question: What would you have him do with the check?
He said he is stocked with food and necessities.
For someone who is semi-disabled he deserves to go out and have a nice meal somewhere.
He isn't spending it on drugs.

I'm sure Falkie would agree with me - when he cries out in pain or snorts up the crap in his throat, I don't think he'd be selling anything.   Sure he can do  20 minute video without these things, but it really takes him quite a while to muster the strength to do them, and he's doing them from the comfort of his own home on his own time.   A steady job at this point, with his health?  That would be impossible for him, and I think you know that Coaster.
Your bullshit doesn't work on me.

Well, apparently Kathy is losing her apartment.  There are always costs involved with moving.  There's been talk of borrowing money from a loan shark, with the car as collateral.  There is constant begging for money for this or that.

I dunno, maybe hang onto the money and spend it on some of that?

Quote from: 3OctaveFart on April 03, 2015, 12:39:01 PM
... he deserves to go out and have a nice meal somewhere.

How so?  Does everyone living off the rest of us also deserve expensive meals out?  How about lavish vacations?  New cars?  Should we set up a new entitlement?  Federal or state?  Do you recommend a voucher system, a monthly check, or a reimbursement system?

If a person wants something, they should work for it.  Someone who spent their life refusing to take classes to learn marketable skills, who over a lifetime refused to develop employable skills, and who wasn't interested in starting a small business to provide useful goods or services, doesn't deserve luxuries later in life using funds taken from the rest of us - for what was supposed to provide a social safety net.  They really don't.

Now that his mother is gone, the rest of us are to support him?  Provide him with little treats?  If he really doesn't need that money, he ought to return it

3OctaveFart

My honest answer is I would rather give my money to Falkie than the federal government.
The latter pretends to care about the Falkies and weeps its crocodile tears for the Falkies, but it doesn't care a whit about him.
I am hesitant to hand out any further advice but I think the two of them pooling their money together for a little while is a good thing.

I cannot believe you asked that; but I'll indulge you. I spent some time unemployed over the years; I found it soul destroying; depressing, and embarrassing, especially when it was through no fault of my own. I know (have known) men and women in a similar position, and feel the same way. VERY few are unemployed as a lifestyle choice. There are a few, and naturally the tabloids jump on that as the norm, to sell their rag.

Senda; quite apart from his bleatings that he gets pulled down for answering questions (He doesn't; he gets pulled for imparting deeply personal info that isn't necessary to impart; but then he bleats that someone has pointed that information out!! What doesn't he fucking get?): Tells the world and it's dog that he's broke and that he can't afford x y a nd z...but then announces without any hint of irony. shame or embarrassment he's doing a raid on the parts catalogue of Apple. Again; what doesn't he get?

He's the source for tabloid stories that try to imply that all unemployed people are grabbing scrounging parasites. All the more ironic that the unemployed's 'friends' are those goddam liberals!

Does his 'monthly' allowance go one month and any surplus go to funding his bid on infamy? His g/f may be homeless, maybe not..What drives the fucking fool? Simply wears blinkers to the bleeding obvious?

Clearly the sensible are missing the point; only you, a few others and Drone think he's a hero; but then, you're simply milking Senda for your own amusement, which is worse than telling the fool he's a fool. At least I'm honest.

3OctaveFart

That is patent bullshit, the last graf.
I gave him a few bucks because I had some and because I like the guy.
I hang out on this thread because IT entertains me, not at all the persecution and bullying of him over the course of 200 pages.
And I differ with Senda on Noory, but he appears to be a strong-willed person perfectly capable of making his own decisions.

This is the bullshit they think we can't see. I think even falkie knows they are playing with him, but he so desperately craves attention, hes willing to look past it. All attention is good attention to Senda.

I'd rather fund my retirement

I'd rather fund my kids education

I'd rather help someone trying to get a business off the ground by buying their product or service

I'd rather find a worthy charity, not someone who excels at finding out what the requirements are for government handouts,  conforming to that, then filling out the application.

I'd rather have that fish dinner myself, but not at some bland pretentious overpriced 'restorante' out in suburbia. Maybe a nice steamed fish at a Thai place

You asked the question; I answered it truthfully and I think comprehensively. You call it Bullshit; what exactly? Because without sounding too immodest, I'll bet I'm carrying the consensus of opinion.

3OctaveFart

Unlike Falkie I do not care to discuss my personal life, but like you I also have spent some time unemployed.
It is all of the things you described and more- the worst shit I have ever been through.
And I don't wish to see anybody go through that, whether it's some guy on the Internet or my closest friend.
The videos and the dream seem to chase the dark clouds away for him, and give him hope of steady income.
I see myself feeding the solution rather than the problem.
And I also see myself politically aligned with both Falkie and Paper*Boy.
I just don't trust the government to do the right thing for him and his partner.

He doesn't want steady income, he wants handouts. He has made this very clear. He will never make money sending in front of a box fan and farting out reviews for gross frozen food. And you throwing him a few bucks isn't going to help him. If you really wanted to help, find him employment, even a part time job. He is fully capable of working. There are probably tons of jobs in his area that he is qualified to do.

Then if that is the aim he should improve the basics (He doesn't need to buy ANYTHING else for that); NEVER  discuss ANYTHING about his private life, ANYTHING!!! Learn to speak clearly and with good diction. STOP begging... NOW.

Then he might just get some credibility...will he do any of that?

The dictates of my conscience tell me I should help him.
I don't want a medal or a peace prize for it.
I have enough to blow on fish dinners and beers, even Apple products.
Maybe it comes from being raised by a Kennedy Democrat of a mother.

Politically aligned with Falkie?  He calls himself a fiscal conservative.  In Texas they would say he's all hat and no cattle.  Did you ever meet a "fiscal conservative" who lived 62 years without learning a marketable skill?  Have you watched his videos?  The jobs he mentioned didn't amount to a hill of beans.  In one of his videos he said, "I'm tired of working."

Who does he blame for his situation?  His mother.  He says he became disabled falling down an escalator.

Escalator Going Up Guy Down Down

You don't trust the government "to do the right thing" for him?  The government (funded by the taxpayers) is providing him with food, shelter, medical care and almost $1,000 per month which he foolishly spends on DVDs and Apple toys.  Who else is going to do that for him? Are you and Drone going to support him?  If so, get ready.  Because the next chapter in the Senda Debacle is going to be Kathy's Prius being towed away by the loan shark.

At which point will you say 'enough is enough'? My question to you After you've freely given part of your earnings, at what point do you tell him 'No George, I can't, no more'?

Interesting don't you think?

I have said they should SELL the Prius. Simple asset management in a crisis situation.
I'd like to think the next chapter is getting an interview with Art- and cutting Jorch straight out of the picture.
But I am respectfully out of the discussion. The same shit is getting rehashed and you are talking about him like a child who is still in the room and hearing the chastisements.

Your solution to the Falkie Debacle is to sell the Prius and interview Art Bell?  What planet are you from?  That's ludicrous - even from a Falkie enabler such as yourself.

So everyone who gets 90 days notice to move out of their Section 8 apartment should sell their car?   How about using that 90 days notice to find another Section 8 apartment, rent a U-Haul and move their furniture - or box fans or whatever?

No wonder your wife has to support you.

I can see how difficult it is to accept that I (and others) are making sense to you; that is fair enough. Interesting you mention he's spoken about like a child; why might that be? Maybe because he acts like a child? Some have said he's a man baby.. Perhaps there's some truth in that? Maybe if he didn't throw tantrums like a toddler who has learned to swear (Re: Redacted), and acted like a 60 something man, he'd be taken seriously.

b_dubb

I'd give Falkie a helping hand if he really needed it. But as you can plainly see he's still spending his money on toys and eating out. That's not someone who is genuinely broke. That's someone who is either out of touch with reality or is too lazy to panhandle on the streets and is doing his panhandling here. And there are also legitimate work from home situations but excuses excuses. He won't help himself because he's too lazy or doesn't actually need it.

If you're wondering why I poke my head in this thread its to see the insult comedy.  Which is frequently of the highest calibre.

I lift up my glass and toast "schadenfreude". Cheers!

If we sell the Prius, then how is she going to find an apartment ?
You're not thinking things through.
As for " expensive " dinners, when you eat soup, spaghetti, stuff out of cans all month, once a month we go and relax and forget about our troubles for a couple of hours. This moving out crap AND BOTH of us being sick has been stressful for both of us.
If I were ABLE to work, there are those on here that would complain that I didn't have a " real " job, like I used to get on the other board.
I know what the payment will be on the car loan. Kathy is a good saver and we'll pay it off in less than a year and she'll have a place to live and a way to get around. We DON"T have $ 5-7500 to buy another one.
We're going to the landlord today & see if he will pay for her moving expenses at the least as  it is part of state law.
When we get the storage, I will pay for it.
Next month except for perhaps a couple of books I will be making no purchases.
Then it will be time to get the storage but hopefully by then she'll have the voucher.

Quote from: ONeill on April 03, 2015, 02:49:25 AM
Reading this thread was a pure comedy experience at the beginning, then it switched to farce, then tragifarce, now I perceive it as a tragedy. Soon we're having an Indiana Jones like storyline with Falkie's Dave-sponsored trip to this gathering of freaks and the next chapter is the eviction of Kathy that will surely be a disaster movie that will make Roland Emmerich envious.

Falkie, do you realize that it's perfectly possible that you will not have enough money to pay the deposit + first rent in Kathy's hypothetical new appartment? Do you also know that the amount that you will miss may be exactly what you spent on this useless shit that you listed in your previous posts + whatever you spend on this stupid trip to meet Dave? I hope you remember this when Kathy loses her car to a loan shark.
For your information, Kathy ate baloney sandwiches for a year and SAVED $ 150 a month to get the FIRST Prius. I gave her another $ 700. So we will NOT have any problem paying the loan back.
Gee, how many times do I have to REPEAT myself on this issue ?
