If I had $ 400 bucks to spare I'd give it all to Kathy.
I did pay a month's rent for her last year so she could pay down her credit cards and gave her the final payment money to pay one off.

Pawned Camera and title loan on car. It appears that you and Kathy are in desperate need of funds.
How much would you borrow using the car as collateral and is there a plan to repay loan?
Is there a loan with a lien on the car now? If so, be very careful putting a second lien on the car.
If first lien loan amount is low and you default on second loan, they can take car and pay off first loan.

That's a last ditch scenario just in case she can't come up with first months/last month's & all that.
I know how to get such a loan but since we didn't have time I did not find out the particulars of how its going to be paid back.
We had to get somewhere before they closed.
I'm going to see if her landlord will pay for her moving costs since he is forcing Kathy out through no fault of her own.
There may be emergency help from the county or Social Security as well or the county could intervene on her behalf.
Its all speculation until we talk to someone on Monday.
I'd did tell Kathy to start saving even if she gets help so that if this ever happens again she will have the means to move.
I will do what I can as well to that end.

Falkie, DO NOT take out a title loan.  If you do, YOU WILL LOSE YOU CAR!  Do you understand that?  You WILL lose your car.  Those guys are loan sharks.  They're worse than Pay Day lenders.  They're PAY DAY lenders holding your car as collateral.  They charge at least $300 percent APR. 

The taxpayers are paying most of your expenses.  There's no reason for you to go into debt.  Just get it through your head that, as someone living off the taxpayers, you have very little, if any, discretionary income - it all has to go to necessities.  You've got enough Apple toys.  You don't need a new iPad or a $500 Sony Camera. 

I know you don't believe anything I say.  Do you believe CNN?  Read this article on the PREDATORY LENDERS known as title loan companies.  Seriously, you take out a loan - you WILL LOSE YOUR CAR!

There are restrictions on income when you're on disability that preclude you from owning property but some are allowed to own a house, I think if they owned it before they became disabled. Will ask about that when we go to Social Security on Monday.
As I see it, it is designed to ensure one never gets off of disability since they penalize you for earning or receiving money.
If i make that kind of money, I'd buy land & build two houses right near each other so she could have her stuff and I could mine with enough disatance between them so we would not torture each other with our respective choices in music or movies.
Kathy has known couples who have done that & they visit each other and live in their own little cottages.
Or I could build her a house and build my Falkie's Fortress with a moat & raise the drawbridge. 

I'm posting 2 videos but am not at my best today given my worries about Kathy.

Pathogen seems legit to me.  I appreciate that she doesn't jump on the bandwagon.  I know it is unsettling when you come across someone that seems genuinely nice.  Speaking of the opposite of that, Pathogen, I would recommend you read this thread from the beginning.  Then you may gain a better understanding of what is going on here.  An understanding of not just Falkie's method of operation but also the motives of the people who seem to be supportive of him.
