The recap:

-- George vs. Comcast's collection agency = George wins and gets them to remove a $100 debt.
-- Cleaning progress (He found a box of clean clothes.)
-- More plans for the land he's buying
-- Save the Date: The Martinez Soup Kitchen is giving away toys, clothes and food this Saturday.
-- In a shocking twist, George needs donations. He can't type his email/PayPal address because he doesn't have a working keyboard, but you can find it in one of his older videos.

I can't wait to hear what happens when he calls Comcast to order cable.

^^^^^^^

I forgot:

-- Coyotes can climb fences
-- A nose-health/prescription update
-- A bunch of stuff about refurbishing old Apple computers.

I checked out George's Amazon Wish List to see if the keyboard he needs is there. It's not. The Echo Dot is, though -- along with a book called "The Beginner's Guide to Using Amazon's Echo Dot."

If he actually gets a donation through Paypal, how does he log in to transfer the funds?

I'm going to guess, with his touchscreen IPad?

Outstanding, and very important questions indeed!

I don't know, call me crazy, he just seems sort of disingenuous about the whole thing.  By the way, notice how I ran two words together in my previous post?  The space bar isn't working too good no how, donations gladly accepted.

We'll be able to get answers to these, and other looming questions when George starts taking calls during his live videos.

Is he taking donations for a working phone, or are we just going to call in on the Snoopy?

Do you need a new space bar? New keyboad? Or new computer? It makes a difference to the donations you need.

I'm wishing for the Snoopy. It would make a more interesting viewing experience for his fans.

Well, she's an old keyboard but I feel she has more mileage to give.  Can you quote me estimate for a new space bar?

Me too.  I would actually pay the extortion money to see Falkie talking to people on that phone.  No others, just that one.

You could try some compressed air. Might save your keyboard.  ;D

A great idea Ponyboy.  As it turns out, the space bar issue was being caused by a fallen piece of taco cheese.  If I take your advice and check the rest of the board, I may have enough material to build a whole taco.  It is lunch time.

Which brings me to a second order of business grifting opportunity.  Falkie and I are going into business for ourselves by investing our your money into a Keyboard Sprout Garden franchise.  You want in?

I would if I could but my quote key is broken.

I got a fat raise and a bonus today, kids! LET'S PARTY!

*makes it rain*

*books an appointment for Botox and lip injections*

*stocks up on eCigs and fine wine*

*buys my mom a working washing machine"

In less than 12 months, I've gone from living in my car to HASHTAG BLESSED.

So rock on with your dreams of land and tiny houses, Falkie! I believe in you!

(Granted, I spent a year working three jobs and perfecting the art of bullshitting my way through corporate job interviews, but still. DREAMS DO COME TRUE!)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Senda will take toys and clothes even though he has no grandchildren or great grandchildren and even though he has more clothes than he knows what to do with or can keep clean.

I'm so sorry to say this, but this was the SAME thought that first came to my mind.

:(

When I first started posting on the Falkie thread, I thought people were picking on him and that he had redeemable qualities. Not so much anymore.  :(

i was gonna suggest to him to use his machines onscreen keyboard.
or
walmart has basic keyboards for less than ten dollars.
or
second hand stores can't give the dang things away.
or
ask me to send him one of my many usb backup keyboards. some are new in the box. they're not fancy. just basic and functional.

i've not needed to replace my keyboard for a decade. it's still going strong. making those half dozen or so "backup" keyboards candidates for the second hand store already mentioned.

I think you're FABULOUS, Inglorious! I'm just always worried that he's lurking here. I never want to make anyone feel bad. (Haha, I realize I'm on the wrong thread/forum, but I feel like I've been grandfathered in from the good old days here. It's like a bad habit I can't shake.)

I've hooked him up.

Maybe he'll buy a new keyboard.

Or maybe he'll buy an Amazon Echo Dot and an accompanying "The Echo Dot Guide for Dummies," as noted on his Amazon Wish List. And Curtis and Jaz can help him set it up.  ;D

Regardless, I hope he has fun. My only request in return is that he's nicer to Kathy.
