Falkie has zero idea of how a business is run.  He must have thought George Noory was going to sit down, write a check, and mail it out the next morning.

He had new money coming in from Coast, and spent it before he got it.  The fees and interest he paid on his payday loans probably ended up being more than the paychecks.

My company just started offering pet insurance through Nationwide. I'm still debating because for 1 cat, it's $33 out of my paycheck -- and that's with the supposed company discount. They do cover annual exams, teeth cleanings and prescription diets. They pay 90 percent of any diagnostic tests and any resulting treatments/surgeries/meds. But yeah, you do have to pay the vet upfront, submit the paperwork and get reimbursed about 8 weeks later. It's not like Medicare or Medicaid or whatever. I don't think Falkie has the stamina for all the paperwork required, let alone the money you have to pay upfront. A damn lung X-ray for my cat cost me $300 the other day. 

She's only 7, BTW. I agree that we have to accept the short lifespans and stay real about finances. Cockatoos live to be 80 though!

I'll have to check into pet coverage, my 90 percent indoor time female cat is pushing 11 years and needs a routine checkup despite the fact she appears healthy. Everytime I lose one I swear I'll never acquire another and then a abandoned throwaway comes wandering into the backyard looking for food.

My son has a parrot and I believe he told me the other day they can live to be 70! He's had his bird for several years now.

My neighbor's mini maine coon needed molar extractions and a loose upper fang removed. Total bill came to around $1200. I was told a continued diet of soft food is bad for their teeth which makes sense as nature gave them fangs to rip flesh from prey and molars to grind up the latest catch.

And Fluffy is also terribly sick and he can't afford to take him to the vet. INCOMING! NEW ANGLE!

Those dishes make me want to weep for him. He should just get a huge garbage bag and throw them all out. There's a YouTube channel called Great Depression Cooking with a (now deceased) 93-year-old lady teaching simple, cheap meals that they ate during the depression. She usually just uses one pot and sometimes a frying pan. He should watch it -- save money on food and only have to use a few cooking utensils and not a sink full of them.

Now I want a burrito.

He has said that Fluffy is about 15 plus he goes outdoors. I love my cats but that is a good run for an indoor cat and an amazing one for an outdoor cat.

he, thus, has been forced to eat soft food from soup kitchens (by HATERS and TROLLS)
and that is why he suffered a year and a half with abscesses and possible loss of his famous snaggle tooth.

I still say Falkie couldn't do it. But some panhandlers make some real cash doing that, I know some can make $300+ a day. thats much more profitable than his current endeavors.

-- 0:08: Note the crud deposited along and atop the stove area. Like he's never even tried to clean it on a daily basis or after each use to keep such accumulations from occurring; now trying to rig the thing before the Section Eight inspection;

OK. We learned from that video. Learned that yes, the famous, late lawyer Melvin Belli, Sr. was George Senda's attorney. Of course. Someone like Belli no doubt represented him out of pure respect and didn't need to charge the whopping fees he did. Wow, every day we hear how Falkie was such a "player" in this world. It's a shame he's fallen so much from his former glory.

But I think an addition to Belli's 1996 obituary needs to be in order. The original quote from the San Francisco Gate:
