I sent George an Email not long ago, apologizing to him for any wrong doings, he believes I've committed. Like many of you reading, I've tried to help George, only to have him freak out on me for no valid reason. I hope him well, no idea what those legions on his face are.

Senda is showing the effects of 65 years of bad decision making. 

His excuse is disability. All his life? He grew up in a state where any resident is entitled to a free university education. He was too lazy to apply himself and take advantage of it, choosing instead a series of minimum wage, no effort retail jobs. And he performed them so poorly he was fired. His mother held him back. Bill Clinton's economy held him back.

Instead of taking advantage of a free university education, learning a skill or conscientiously working a job, he spent hours every day moderating a prostitution website. It was more fun than working or taking classes.

He's on medicaid which will allow him to get first-rate medical care anywhere in California. He's too lazy or stupid to get a primary care physician who would manage his care and send him to appropriate specialists. Instead he prefers to drop by the ER at his convenience. They don't know his history like a primary care physician would. They treat him, write a prescription and send him home. An ER physician hasn't got the time to develop a comprehensive treatment program for a patient he/she has never seen before and may never see again.

His diet is hideous. He shows us what he buys at the grocery store. Calories, preservatives and little, if any, nutritional value.

Statistics show that people who get proper medical care live, on average, 15 years longer than those who don't.

Bad decisions + bad food + inadequate medical care + sedentary lifestyle + obesity = short, miserable life.

Poor 'ol Falkie.  Not even Job (Biblical Job Falkie, calm down), had to deal with as many plagues.  Did Job's face ever look like it had been sat on by a two dollar whore?  Like Job, however, it would be nice to see Falkie suffer loss as far as personal possessions go.  The less crap in his living quarters collecting dust, mites and bacteria, the easier it would be to clean.  Seriously though, until Falkie deals with apparent mental issues, his physical health will only continue to deteriorate IMO.  In that way, I do feel sorry for him.  I recently suggested some help with mental health...you can imagine how that went.

Jeez Louise - I stay away from the thread for a bit and it appears now that George really needed that ER visit.   He looks ghastly in that video.
I truly hope the downhill slide doesn't  accelerate at this point.  It would seem he's at least seeing the point in the future where can't care for himself
properly anymore.

I'm not joking either....really concerned for the Big Guy.  Waiting patiently for an update. Hope he made it to Wallmart to get his meds.  This is a scary dark time for us all.

Hoarders are always in deep denial and are very creative in their excuses. "I'm a collector" "My place is too small." "Its so and so's fault" "I've been meaning to finish this or send it to so and so."  "I cleaned this yesterday" (One very small spot) "Its just a stack of books. Books never hurt anyone." "I'm not saving garbage." Heard it all a hundred times. Many hoarders are elderly and obese.

They have a pattern of building a hoard until they get evicted or the gubmint forces them to clean up amid the hoarder screaming "This is not America! Those assholes." Then the whole cycle repeats. Until the hoarder either gets help or dies in their hoard often with chest and sinus infections, rashes, etc. Or  they have a stroke or heart attack and the delay in getting them out when seconds count leads to demise.
