If you want Art Bell back, use what always works.  Money.  Cancel your sirius subscription.

No offense... but canceling your subscription isn't getting Art back.

1. Art's audience isn't nearly the size of many of the other channels.
2. They are already calling for a weaker 2014 revenue due to a Jan2014 $6 price hike.
3. They are already adding new content.

I just canceled mine since I really won't be using it anymore. I got the internet subscription just to listen to Art and I don't drive much so it's not really worth paying for. Also I heard the price is going up in Jan I'm out.

you are a negative person....and you surround yourself with negative energy.  this is from the few posts I have seen of yours.

I know cancelling my subscription won't get Art back but he was the only reason I signed up to begin with.

Newly signed up here, tho been following this site since Art came back.
Had been considering becoming a member as have really enjoyed following the forum.

Been a dyed in the wool fan of Art's since back in 1997, listening to him on air  &  Nothing has changed that.

Like most, not a fan of this day n age C2C (Understatement, kindly put) .
Having spent the years that passed having listened to Art's old shows, tracking them down all over the net, was thrilled he had returned.
Pretty much like the rest of you.

But to see the dogs turn, on this site, made me sign up to post this comment.

Everyone here was thrilled he had returned. Something we had wished for, for oh,  so very, very long.
He gained some Newbie's along the way here.
He sounded so very good, relaxed, it was great to hear him having such a great time. Face it - It was just all round Great to hear him.
As many commented here - who cared about the guest.. it was just great to hear Art again. Heaven on earth.
This forum was having a blast and 'Taking the Ride' right along with him.

So.. I can completely understand what is going on right now. Art gave it enough time that the kinks should have been worked out. He is a professional. He expected better. Not only for himself. But also for us -his listeners. In Art having linked his name to it  - It was a reflection on him - and god knows this man had to put up with enough **@* in the past. Yes us older listeners can attest to this. So - That he did not want to be in this position again- Who can blame him.

I believe it is obvious he will be back. In a format that he can provide clear reception and give his listeners what he believes they are entitled to. It is not Arts fault. Art came thru like the professional he is.

I'm pretty disappointed with some in this forum. Members who turned at the drop of a hat .
I'm sure when Art and his crew have it figured out - That y'all are going to be listening - again - even those who right now have no compunctions about ripping him apart. Those people could go listen to Noory. Good riddance if they actually would:>)

So many of the comments I've read in here in the weeks since Art's return, have impressed and amused me. I thought it was a pretty good bunch.
Art even talked about 'Gab' on his show.
Then to see this...

It is really easy to sit out here and critique and diss Art. After the accolades most here lauded on him.

So ..just to even the scales, there are still those out here - That support him & get it- What has happened.
Art owes us nothing. Yes - we are loyal a (the vast majority of us) listening base. He still owes us nothing. We missed him terribly in his absence. We love he is back. He still owes us nothing. We in fact owe him for the countless hours he has entertained us. YEARS.

Hopefully we are empathetic and have some compassion too. Yes- one of his driving loves is radio - aren't we lucky.
We always hoped that his love would mean he would be back - It did - That- doesn't mean he has to go thru hell again. He did not let us down.

He has a lot of support... How many people does this post of mine represent. Many more than the negative I'm sure.
It always seems people with negative comments have no compunctions to spew the first thoughts in their heads right out - onto keyboard - onto net.
Give it a little thought people -It is awfully easy to be so quick to judge. Walk a mile in someone elses shoes. Many here will not ever experience the turmoil Art has lived.

One might consider putting all that negative energy into complaining to Sirius about why Art felt he could not continue.

Oh good grief. I for one didn't turn at the drop of a hat, we have been putting up with this childish horseshit from him for 15 years, I had none of the problems he was whining about, I listened to it exclusively on my phone, you can keep on sporting the Dark Matter kneepads for this immature asshat as is your right, but as soon as I have gotten my anger at him out of my system I will be done here. Maybe sooner as I have already been warned by a moderator to tone it down
:D
Doubtful. I have referred to him as a child rapist and the murderer of his former wife and nary a "settle down" for me.

We have only one moderator here and it's MV. He doesn't tend to tell people to "tone it down" unless they're picking on another member. So if you were told by anyone OTHER than MV to cease and desist, they were posing. Say what you want.

just cancelled my account. getting 19.05 back... I did it because I am a flighty spineless sponge that has no loyalty and I also have bad habits.
