How much have you spent?

How much money have you forked out for your Sirius subscription to date? What hardware have you purchased? What merchandise have you purchased? Are you locked into a contract? Are you going to keep your subscription?

I have purchased $130 Sirius prepaid credit which gives me 8 and 1/2 months of an internet subscription. After this I will cancel my subscription. I have enjoyed some of the other content but I really only got the subscription for Art and since I've already paid I'm not going to cancel yet.

I'm lucky I don't live in the US otherwise I would have also forked out for a Sirius car stereo and probably a radio for home too.

I also purchased an Art Bell Dark Matter long sleeve t-shirt. Hopefully it is worth something someday.

My outlay wasn't that much. A $19.00 subscription and about $80.00 for an Ethernet cable. $8.00 a month for a shoutcast server.

$80 for an ethernet cable? Was it diamond encrusted and coated in solid gold.  :o

it was a 2-40 footers, a coupler and another 20 footer. But yeah, I always buy the diamond encrusted.

I've gotten sirius for about 5-6 years now so that was no added expense , but i did pay 80 bucks for a sirusxm radio ..i do listen to other shows so its not a complete bust ..but dammit , i would have never gotten it if art bell hadnt come back

I have a car unit that I reactivated and the internet streaming at around $22 per month. I deduct them as a business expense so real cost is around $14 or so. So no major spending yet, but I was planning to spend more on a better home unit setup until Art quit. Now fogettaboutit

My new SiriusXM receiver was on it's way.  Going to have to send it back.

Sadly, I didn't trust enough to go "all in" and I made the right move. I just had the online subscription and listened through my PC. I'm technically "out" whatever the prorated dollar amount is from now until the 15th of the month.

I personally think the Dark Matter merchandise will go up in value.

It'll be so rare.

I never bought any of the Dark Matter T-Shirt crap.

My SiriusXM in my Jeep was due and I re-upped for $35 w/ free streaming.

Nothing invested, and apparently nothing gained.

Pretty much the exact same situation here. I don't drive much and can get music channels for free elsewhere so I'm going to let it run out at the end of the month.

Yeah, I'd like a shirt right now.  It would make a nice dart board.

Pretty much this. I had a couple of minor issues with the app and haggled some credit on my account, so I haven't paid anything yet.

I was considering getting a regular subscription for my husband's daily commute. I didn't know the price is going up though.

Thankfully only the cost of one month. I don't care so much about that, my only hesitation with signing up with Sirius was everything I had read online about the hell they put you through when you try to cancel. I stupidly thought I wouldn't have to deal with that until three years down the road.
