TO ALL OUR FANS, LISTENERS AND WEB VISITORS
We are sorry that Dark Matter on SiriusXM has come to an abrupt end. We'll examine our options and may be able to return in a different format and medium.

In the mean time, ArtBell.com will still operate as long as financially possible, hoping for a workable solution to bring Art back to you, soon. Keep checking back here often.

Bwahahahaha...right.

Maybe some more cryptic clues.

Hey! Keep checking....you just never know. He might find another formst on which to quit!

It would be fitting if all the content was slowly taken off the site and then just a few words linking to YouTube clips and then a few exclamation points ending with a single question mark before reverting to a page not found page.

Will they release a cd-rom of this incarnation?

Bell doesn't like doing a show anymore--seems clear to me. He seemed oddly obsessed with C2C, he spoke of moving his assets back to the Philippines, he threatened to make the move if the US defaulted, spoke repeatedly about his dual residency, made references to how much time he had to fill (then started to claim he loved 'long-form' radio, and was forever talking about Skype (clearly not getting enough callers), talked about how few years he has left, etc.

Seems like he just wasn't enjoying it. The topics were mostly stale rehash although McCafee and the CIA guy seemed to prick his interest. We know he wasn't going to make much doing this unless it took off, and it apparently didn't. Maybe if his numbers were amazing he would have kept at it, but sounds like they were pretty bad. On C2C he talked to an audience of millions and DM may have only been <20k...maybe Sirius was considering dropping him (probably not, but who knows?)

We're left wondering if his wife hated the desert, if the money wasn't good enough, or that he misjudged his audience draw.

The show was good, Art does fine just talking about the news of the day.

This is a good post, and probably true.

Then he should have grabbed his balls, manned up and said sorry folks my heart isn't in this. None of this other crap.
