I was just listening to the spec sheet and bateman's call in.  I think you guys were really close why to nailing it on the head about the guest art has had on. I agree that some of them were kinda dull, but this isn't 1990's anymore. Today we have so many different ghost shows and paranormal stuff on T.V. that its just kinda takes away from the magic of Cost and Dark Matter.  I loved hearing Art doing spooky matter but honestly when i hear any type of ghost shows anymore its kinda boring because I've herd them so many times that its just the same stories over and over the only difference is the person telling it. How many times can you hear hogland come up with new theories about mars lol. anyway that's my thoughts.

Many of the older shows from the 90's had some pretty dull guests. Many were very good. It is just that the streams would only play the good shows, so we forget about the crap guests (IE Numbers lady)

The one thing I want to hear from art is why. Of course, there might be back-room shit going on he can't talk about --- much like his Ouija board experience --- but, nevertheless, I want to know.

Why, art, didn't you just hang in there, hang tough, hang tight, hang talented and slug it out. Worst case scenario you have shit callers. I know its a drag, but there are worse things. You could've cut the callers out entirely --- even switched to a format like Noory has where you have a few guests on for hour-long increments. Anyway, that's what I want to know. I don't give a shit about anything at this point except why you did it the way you did it, art. It didn't accomplish anything, it seems. Of course, the battle isn't over yet. But, still, this going "all in" shit is macho, yes, but when you go all in and lose like this all you end up doing is pissing off millions of your devoted fans and giving Noory waves of hot, victorious, silky bliss.

I'm not comparing you to Hitler but this whole ordeal was really just a repeat of his invasion of the Soviet Union. If he kept his pact with Stalin and just took out his teenage angst on the tea-drinking, literature-reading, umbrella-using sissies of Western Europe, he'd at least still be relevant today. Instead, he went up against Joseph goddamn Stalin and RUSSIA! Russia's the biggest goddamn country EVER and the Russians have spent millennia living in FRIGID COLD with BEARS and GODDAMN SNOW LIONS drinking PBR and eating CAMPBELLS TOMATOE SOUP OUT OF A LEATHER SHOE. You can't fuck with that, art. You just can't. You invaded the Soviet Union and now you're a silly punchline. Sure, maybe 60 years from now knuckleheads will be tattooing your face on the face as a sign of prison status, but that's it. Goddamn.

I feel bad for the poor Sirius guy who recruited Art from Facebook.  No matter what happens, that company is going to look bad because of Art.

Don't forget, Sirius has that dreadful Jay Thomas guy plus those hooker commercials - I wouldn't feel to bad for them  :)

Art's name removed from the schedule.

Boilerplate customer service response stating Art is not coming back.

Archived episodes soon to become unavailable.

And now we're late in the day and no word from Art.

Gonna have to go back on Youtube and listen to old shows now.

It's a damned shame. What a horrible letdown.

That's often the corporate way of communicating things... No confrontation, no notice.... Just let things fall off and hope no one asks anything.

If Sirius is sufficiently pissed off about this, they'll just not respond to Art's latest offering, and just let this all slowly fall flat.  We won't be getting an official update.  But the clues from Sirius are pretty ominous.

Our only hope now would involve the combined forces of Mad Man Markham and John Titor to retroactively fix this.

Art is Darth Vader in that scenario.

If Art just wants to quit, why does he keep logging in, why does he keep explaining himself to the small but loyalist of his fans

Yep.  That hot chick, Ms. Sirius, ain't calling back.

I was pretty hopeful, now I am starting to feel down.  Oh, well:  I think I'll go out and take a hike and see if I can get an endorphin rush going to cheer me up.  When I come back, maybe there will be some news.

(Another bottle of Chivas may be in order:  the one I bought on Monday is getting damn low).

I have to take exception to this. Horrible commentary. You should be ashamed.

A mass murderer relevant? Never!

I think its pretty much a done deal Sirius is done with Art at this point.

Why should Sirius make a response right away.

Hate to say it, but this is pretty small $$$ wise to the company.

Relevant as in still a political player --- not relevant as in Deepak Chopra.

Well thats kinda my point back then even if they were dull the shows were new it was something new to hear it was different. Today its like re living those old shows and knowing how they end.  Many of the people on here wont like this but I do like some of George's shows cos persoanly i like Alex Jones.  But George and Cost to Cost no i dont like that. Im a mess im torn lol   perfect situation is Art has Coast George has the Noory Show  kinda like Beck has his own show.  Putting George as a replacement for Art yea he sucks.  Make any sense lol.  if not its ok i dont get myself sometimes. :-/

Dark wings, dark words, dark matter.

Bet he could buy out his own contract, and use use the stream he's testing

Oh... and I also have a correction for you.

The leather shoes were muddy and moldy. And the soup was past the expiration date.

But I still think the Hitler stuff should stay out of this thread.

Ok. I take it back.

My knowledge of military history is limited. Outside of Hitler, what is an example of someone biting off way more than they can chew in a military conflict?

The Spartans won. I think. So can't use them.
