Art may be a legend but he has no platform...

Noorys 'suckage' isnt the issue and is nothing he is worried about . If his suckage has not cost him a job in 10 years (and he has some huge Contract to boot) it isnt going to change because of Art Bell, you, me or anyone else...

-Honestly why would he be worried? "because he sucks" is not really an answer for me to try and gauge what line of thought you are using- Just sounds like a dig... What does Art Bell returning (even Tomorrow) have to do with george Noory being afraid? Art burned any bridge he will ever have with folkss taking a chance on him aside from Podcasting. So Noory needs to worry about a Podcast which probably will not even be on during the same time slot?

I mean, really...I think Noory probably gives two shits at this point. I think Noory probably was a bit worried about Arts return but we all know how that went...

What does George Noory have to worry about at this point? No offense here but even a huge podcast is not really going to effect him one way or the other.

-AND Art isnt back. Art said he is getting representation (good) and I hope Art comes back (really) but I will believe it when I see it.

Honestly want to know why I think Noory is here? because this shit is fucking entertaining as hell and he has to be getting some smug satisfaction over this- I would be if I were him... hell, I lost about $300 dollars over this fiasco and I am getting my moneys worth now. If I am correct (and I am pretty sure I am) this thread will reach epic proportions of trolling and white knighting by the time it is over. And Art still wont return. The backlash will be an epic read...

But again. Lets see how this all plays out. Either Art returns or I get some seriously twisted entertainment watching the excuses fly- Thats why I am here, and I imagine Noory is here for the Lulz as well- because at this point, all we have are the Lulz...All we have are the Lulz... I was EXTREMELY  skeptical of the last Art comeback, and even more so now.

No questioning Art's radio talent, and nobody misses those magical nights of the 90' s more than I. But, like an addict, I suspect we're still chasing that initial high.

My guess? To build upon his 'nice guy' persona. The business he is in is one of public perception so its good PR (potentially) I would imagine. Plus engaging in dialogue with people 'opposed' to you can often bring a quasi 'personal tie' with that person (or people) and thus keep the venom to a minimum and even get them to possibly change camps or 'drop out' of the hate fest...

-Good PR is my guess.

That said, I still think it was cool as hell to offer someone help with their glasses and PR stunt or not it made my jaw drop a bit...  To help someone out (regardless of any ulterior motives) with something as important as sight is a pretty cool thing.
