I wouldn't go overboard in ascribing much significance, but let us take note: Art got the thirteenth thousandth post. Click to verify.

Yes. That was the first one. Along with "farging bastages".
The second one was WarGames...
well during my little podcast the other day with MV and Jaz I said Falkies for all - but it does fit i suppose within the WOPR construct...I'll allow it...Hello Professor Falken

care to play some ...chess.?

georgesucks

Well if art does come back and the air, what are the odds that he will retire again?  I know many don't what to hear it. I just don't want to invest my time for him to quit again. Btw george noory still sucks a lot. Also george does suck at quitting as art sucks at staying on the air.

I'm speaking for myself here I'm sure, but as far as I'm concerned this is about giving Art the freedom to do what he wants, whether that means come back on the air or not--and if he does, that he do it on his own terms, for however long he wants to, whether it's six weeks or six years.

I just bet you all that something pops up shortly. I would put money on it.

Heard Gordon Lightfoot in a Sault Ste. Marie casino years ago, around when he turned 70 (I think he's 77 or 78 now).  Still tours, and while the voice is going, he's still great.   That man knows how to write a song.
I agree. He's one of the few that you feel the words and music coursing right through you. :)

Yes, when Lightfoot sang "If you could read my mind, Lord," his cracking voice just made it even more heartwrenching.  Kind of like Johnny Cash at the end.  Though I hope Gordon has years to go.  I want to see him one more time!

There must be an ideal time to tweet no?  Like the lunch hour or just after dinner hour? You think?

We know it's not Noory, he prefers his turkey in the form of convenience store sandwich filling.

I have been listening to art for many years like most other bellgabbers here. I know the history of art many retirements. I just don't like being jerked around. So art if you are reading this, please don't jerk us around when/or if you do get your way with sxm. I know that many people here do support you.

Yeah, there's all kinds of studies done about that. Just Google it, I'm sure you'll find something.

Are you referencing "Farging Icehole"...
Or Professor Stephen W. Falken (aka Dr. Robert Hume)

Actually my handle and email name comes from Jerry Pournelle's character John Christian Falkenberg III, from his mercenary leader of the future series and is an homage to him. While not a close friend, we've sung a song or two and hoisted a brew at conventions and he has a great web page, Chaos Manor.

And IF Art ever does come back, he probably would be a great guest.

Yeah, I think a lot of people tweet during work and school hours too.
Let's keep this going! Send it out to the media. The Huffington post is always looking for shit to gossip about.

Is Art on right now? hey.... I'm on hold throwing inheritance away right now.  Someone pick the fuck up.
