The number of children on legal "meth," basically, and anti-depressants at such an early age really disturbs me. It is really insane. And the idea/ideal that everyone should always be 'level' or 'numb' and never depressed, elated, active, inactive, etc. I know in cases that certain drugs work and certain conditions need it but, still, so early in life? And so prevalent- and related also to income, if in public institutions, etc? In times in which the brain itself is developing? So that they are "better behaved" in school etc? Versus the possible dangers?

Yeah, we're medicating everyone, including kids, against the depression of living in a broken and inhumane civilization, and our freaky artificial/highly processed diets and ubiquitous poisons in our air, earth, food and water are contributing to every form of mental and physical disease.

For some reason our civilization has decided to ignore causal agents in favor of synthetic adaptive treatments.  It's a house of cards, and rife with devastating consequences.

Heck, there's been a FM pirate operating here, commercially, in the Bronx on 91.3 for years, making WFMU 91.1 unlistenable.  Actually I haven't checked for them lately, but at least it did operate for years continuously.  I didn't quite have what it would've taken to DF them, but from driving around I could tell it was around Burke Ave.
