2. If you are so reluctant to be on the air, why did you pull a hissy fit and get a man fired who was trying to find a replacement to take the heat off you?
3. Isn't it more likely that, instead of saying 'we don't want a woman on the air', they actually said 'we don't want that woman on the air'?
4. Did Art ever explain why your co-hosting gig a few months ago ended after one badly-received appearance? If he thought you were an embryonic talent, why didn't he find you a low-profile spot on DMDN to cut your teeth and learn from your mistakes?
5. Did Art explain why you got the producer's job based on zero experience or demonstrable aptitude for the position?
6. If you failed as a co-host, why have you been considered suitable (by the man who canned you previously) to be the sole host of the show?
7. Why are you so reluctant to reveal anything about yourself? The first thing people tend to think when people do that is that they have been in jail.
8. Why are you so confident that there is a stalker? Do you have first-hand knowledge, or is it all based on Art's testimony? If it was, then why did you think you had the authority to file a police report without his knowledge?
9. Are you living in Pahrump?
10. Did you come on the show of your own volition, or did Art tell you to?

I think we need people to step up and pick a question they are going to ask. POst here with your intent to volunteer.  Pick a question number and then you can get a couple of days practicing it. Use the skype Loopback feature so you can see what you sound like. If two people pick the same question number, then MV will settle all disputes.

I think we need people to step up and pick a question they are going to ask. POst here with your intent to volunteer.  Pick a question number and then you can get a couple of days practicing it. Use the skype Loopback feature so you can see what you sound like. If two people pick the same question number, then MV will settle all disputes.

a very kind and true post you put up. I enjoy the hell out of the gab cast. I never thought I would have any interest in who does what on any radio show but I do now only because of bellgab. I don't care if art came back. I kind of hope he doesn't. I should feel bad about commenting on the Bateman redacted scuffle but I gotta admit I love the drama.

I don't know much about Bateman other than he is really good on his show. I might not have expressed my thoughts in a reasonable mannor. What I meant was that I have dealt with people, all male, that think they can do my job ( fishing) and I have dealt with their nagging about not catching enough or how and where I take my boat and so on. So finally I told one of the guys here you do it, you take the responsibility,you work for yourself, you take the risks. He didn't last a day. So what I mean is that I felt Bateman was kinda being an armchair quarterback.

Okay, well, I can see what gave you this idea, but i don't think your fishing situation and this one with Bateman are comparable. I see where you're going to listen again. You may change your mind.

I would keep in mind that the armchair quarterback thing really shouldn't apply to any radio listener with listening experience and reasonable inteligence and taste. Radio personalities don't get to dictate to the audience whether they're good at their jobs or not. The audience dictates that to them. That's how the industry works.

Just a thought, guys. I like the Open Lines plan of action but there's a hangup, no pun intended. Operational security.

Anyone can and will read this thread before Friday. So factor in not having the element of surprise. Also, factor in that tough questions will be perceived as hostile actions by the enemy, not attempts to get at the truth. Suggest preparing for that eventuality.

All I heard was a lot of deflection. It's still Art's show etc. Sorry I'm not buying any of it now. That did nothing to sway me to that side. It was such a wasted opportunity. And then after the fact Art gets on Facebook and posts that he and Heather are done here? That made it even less credible.
