Not misplaced anger at all. Heather and Art are now in this thing together. They both are MITD.  She works for him and represents as well as shares many of his interests in (and POV on) the show and the current controversy. She can and should legitimately be questioned. You seem to be angry at the cashier for what the company is doing.  You seem angry that the price of milk has gone up and are screaming at the stock person.  They don't have control over that.

Just like Heather doesn't have control over what Art does or says or behaves, nor is she suddenly the spokesperson for Art,  nor does she represent Art and all matters that relate to Art.

You have chosen to concoct this elaborate "place the blame" game and you have your sights on Heather and that she must answer and know the answer for everything.

Heather is now both producing and hosting the show.  Why is that so hard to believe that is all she is doing, and all she knows?

Finally, I hope that isn't Heather's real name, she should stay anonymous because you guys are creepy as fuck and I would want to stay as far away from you "fans" as possible.

No, I think you're overreacting. Sredni is in-your-face and abrasive here, but not the "C" word. As Pyewacket pointed out, there is one paramount issue roiling the forum these days -- Heather, Art and the future of MITD, if it even has one -- and that issue should have been the focus of the Gabcast in the minds of the hosts.

Heather calling in and offering to deal with the tough questions was a great opportunity to tackle this issue, and her spat with Bateman was directly relevant to it. Anyone who wanted to just do a nice, happy show should have waited for another opportunity to host.

As it turned out, we could have learned more, but thanks to Bateman (who got the ball rolling) we learned plenty about Heather and the state of things. The hosts, by action or inaction, managed to keep her on the air long enough to show her truer colors, even if that wasn't their intent.

It was a podcast with a group of non-professional hosts questioning another non-professional host that they think of as a friend or buxom buddy. We're lucky it turned out as well as it did.

I agree it's an issue, and as I said previously I think this is exactly the sort of thing the podcast-extension-of-the-forum should be about. What I'm objecting to is Sredni's need to see blood drawn, and I'm only bothering to comment on it because I've come to expect better from him. Jeremy Kyle, Sredni? Surely not.

I'm still royally pissed off that (Redacted) and Bateman even called in. Self-promoting, arrogant twats they are. The show is GabCast. Not MITDCast or DCCast dammit. They can call each other out on their own shows.

We had important stuff to discuss. Falkie had just been to a Woo Woo Con. The number of Trump posts on the forum heavily out weigh the number of posts for all other candidates. There was bacon in the Bella-Haven thread. People were mourning the passing of David Bowie. On January 17, 1916 something happened. I don't remember what, but I saw a post on it. LittleChris is back. EddieCoyle isn't. Everybody knows Clinton is a crook, but there is heated debate about whether or not she will be indicted. Chine has new artwork. Haiku production has slowed way down.

THESE were the issues we should have been discussing. Things that are the heart and soul of BellGab.

The interviews were a travesty. Not because of the questions that were asked or were not asked, but by the mere fact that they happened at all.

Once he called that call a meltdown, he lost my respect. There, I said it. I don't care if he used those words for the one 30 minutes before the show... He shouldn't have called the other one a meltdown. That was a cheap shot IMHO.

The only one with the authority to give you an offer is Keith.  He offered you an opportunity to prove you could do live radio, which you ran away from.  That does not constitute an offer to host the show.

I have said no lies.  I was told a man should do the show, so called Steve to get a man in the seat.  He would not do it.  Not surprising that Steve would get you, his girlfriend, to come in and defend him.  I think Steve is afraid of live radio, the only live radio he's done is watching over John Batchelor's shoulder.
