Something is echoing on and on in my head. It's a jovial something. That part of the GabCast where Rubini makes an off the cuff remark along the lines of "your people" (presumably referring to BellGabbers), and Lee's retort, "I have people?"

I have a comprehensive theory about the last Gabcast.

This is a plot, hatched with brig via voxer, to bring Heather back into the bellgab fold. "Rubini" is MV's alter ego, a shamelessly hustling impresario calculated to appeal to, horrify, and delight the oh-so-jaded bellgab audience. The mission to the cuckshack sealed the deal with Wade.

Brig has always said Heather belongs at bellgab, which I agree with. Not for business reasons -- she has facebook for that -- but because bellgab's rejection left deep wounds on her psyche and a return, not to a dedicated forum (we would all leave) but to the old place with at least one vigorous defender who is in fact in charge but can't appear to be. He will pave the way.

Chefist is of course in on the whole thing, and Jackstar has allowed it.
