What's "uncontrollably hostile" is a talentless, chickenshit coward who sends his morbidly obese eunuch producer and constant companion - not that there's anything wrong with that -  to try to strongarm guests scheduled to appear on both C2C and Dark Matter. There's an old saying that you never really know what someone is like until you see them in a tight situation. Because it's easy to fake it and pretend to be a sweet person when things are going fine.

But when things get dicey, and you're not sure what the future holds it's much tougher. Like maybe you're a radio show host who has faked being Mr. Nice Guy for years, but now that your ratings have taken a nose dive, and you're being dropped by quality stations like you're a hand model with leprosy, things are tough, and all of a sudden the Real You comes out more and more.

That's what's happening now with George Noory. We're seeing that the caring, sweet-natured, nice guy George was a just a fucking lie meant to fool the rubes and the old folks with onset of Alzheimer's. Because now with Art coming back and C2C hemorrhaging listeners and money like blood from a severed jugular, The Real George has sent Fat Tommy out to bully guests. In case you need an ethics primer, nice guys don't extort and threaten their guests. And like all cowardly acts a bully commits, word gets around fast.

George has just done the stupidest thing of his entire career.

Since it's an ancient tactic to try to stock up on several tiny stations when your show starts to collapse and the avalanche of losing the monster stations begins, I'd say it would be much more informative to state the audience numbers of affiliates.

Better yet would be to release your Arbitron reports, GN (again, as if Noory ever posted here). But that would show that you've had your tiny balls handed to you several years ago when you were able to take the audience Art handed to you and reduce it by 25% to 1/2.

As I've said before, the one & only reason he has the number of affiliates he has is because they're all ClearChannel stations. CC & Premiere are the same company. It's just about selling their own product. You don't put Pepsi in a Coke machine.

Hey! we shouldn't make fun of George and Tommy's close, personal relationship that extends not just to the show, but to all George's personal appearances and to George's personal time as well. A loving relationship is a beautiful thing, and if George is still a little too old-fashioned to know he can come out of the closet, I think we should understand. After all, he's closing in on 70, and men like George and Tommy can be very sensitive about their age. Not that there's anything wrong with being like George and Tommy.

I have a suggestion, make a new thread in the c2c section about this debate over how people talk about/treat George.
That way it doesn't spill over into all sorts of other threads and you guys and gals can let loose.

I don't see the benefit in cussing ANYONE out on a website, let alone some one I never met, but I understand the passion and frustration going on with the whole guest stuff (and going back to having Oates on....which was a horrible idea by c2c).
