Tonight, tomorrow and other times throughout this week... Irish Stew. I make a killer stew... junkies drop their heroin for it.

My Mom makes a great stew that is one of my top 5 favorite dishes for sure.  Gotta hear your recipe if you're willing to share.   Here's hers:

Brown beef chunks in oil & put it in a pressure cooker.
Fill the cooker with water so it covers the meat.   
Slice up an onion and throw it in
Put a crushed clove of garlic in if desired
Pour in some worcestershire sauce and add some salt
Pressure cook for about 30 minutes
Release the pressure, and throw in big chunks of carrots and potatoes.
Pressure cook for another 10 minutes or so so that the vegetables are fully cooked and soft but not mushy
Throw in some frozen peas
Mix some flour and water to make a liquidy paste, and mix the paste in to thicken the stew, mixing while you add the paste
Add more salt and pepper to taste

Last nights dinner was homemade beef and noodles - with salted caramel apple pie dessert =P - today's lunch was toasted bread, little butter, 2 slices of ham/cheese - re-heated for about 20 seconds..and potato chips mmm mmmm
