So I guess that's it for tonight's bell gab callers.  :'(
...unless some of us are time travelers.

I wish they would put this Piolin guy on with Dave Noory.

Really? You guys didn't like Alice in Chains?
They were one of my favorite bands of that era.

I like AIC just fine.I was more of a Nirvana guy though. So much so that I was in a Nirvana tribute band a couple years back called Negative Creep. Played the local bar scene for a year and half and then called it quits and started an original metal band.

I must of redialed 200+ times! rang maybe 12 times and didn't get thru.
Frustrating but it's a GREAT sign of just how well the show is doing.

Yes, isn't it wonderful?  It's just like 1999.  I'm sitting at my laptop, listening to Art Bell, sending him off a fast blast every hour or so, and posting on an Art Bell fan forum.  Only I was almost 15 years younger.  Memories...all alone in the moonlight...  Damn.  I still can't sing for shit.

Whaaat????
It's been 15 years?! No way!
Just yesterday I listened to a young guy named Mike talking about how he's building a time machine using stolen transformers.

Early on I had a great call to ring ratio but as the show went on I was getting rings every 10 calls then every 20 calls. Finally got the ring and it rang twice and Art picked up. Boom. I won the Art Bell lottery.

Just yesterday I couldn't figure out if I was "from an alternate timeline," or simply "couldn't remember history right."

Pop quiz: Who is in Lenin's Mausoleum? No points for peeking on Wikipedia.

Ummm . . . Lenin?

Ok jackstar, here's one for you.  Who's buried in Grant's tomb?  No Wikipeeking. ;D

I love themed open lines. I don't even care that most of them are BS. I just love to sit back and listen. If I wasn't at work I think I'd be having a beer.

That's what I figured, I knew if it got past the first five or so rings odds were he wasn't picking up my line.
I have some serious stuff to ask him about Robert Bigelow and NIDS, I have a serious theory about him and skin walker ranch etc.

Well turns out she was about 2 hours late and I was sitting watching the storm for what seemed like about 20-30 minutes. Those clouds hypnotized me, it was a strange experience. Thats the closest I've come to "missing time".

huh. strange. Electrical storm? I wonder if electric machinery or weather is a common thread between similar experiences like this.

Once I was sitting on my front porch waiting for a friend to come pick me up. One of these amazing electrical monsoon storms we get in Arizona was blowing in from the east, I just sat there watching it blow over the Superstition Mountains. A short time later my friend pulls up to the drive, I walk out to meet her. As I approach she apologizes about being so late but then suddenly starts asking whats wrong with me and if i'm ok. I felt fine and didn't feel like I was acting any different. Well turns out she was about 2 hours late and I was sitting watching the storm for what seemed like about 20-30 minutes. Those clouds hypnotized me, it was a strange experience. Thats the closest I've come to "missing time".

Closest I've come to time travel is the very intense deja vu that I used to get (but not so much anymore for some reason).  Most people describe it as a kind of memory of having lived something before.

But for me it feels much more like if skipped ahead in time, like just by maybe 10 seconds or so, such that the events that are happening (like a dog barking off in the distance, a tea kettle going off, a blue car driving by etc.) are things that I somehow "know" are supposed to happen right then, since I'm slightly ahead of the current time track so to speak by just a bit.  Usually this experience goes on for about a minute, and then fades away just as fast, and it then feels like I've slowed back down into "real" time again.
