Wait, he doesn't like the idea of wormholes, but he also thinks that we have no choice in what we do. That's absurd.

Yeah, the phone breathing is getting really annoying. I think hes smoking and exhaling into the phone.

I have this image of him just sitting there sighing and facepalming every time anyone says anything. He just seems to hate everyone.

Finally he told him not to breathe in the frickin phone!

MY WORMHOLES WERE SUCCESSFUL!!!

Quick Karl

I know this is strange but, attractive young green women just do something to me...

Woah woah woah

How can you be an atheist and not believe in free will.

WildCard

So reading it in a magazine trumps direct experience?

He's in lalalala land on that one!

PrairieGhost

Art has totally pinned him down on choice and burned him crisp!

popple

"That's choice. In other words, as I grow up as Art Bell, I can make choices. I can be a truck smuggler in Africa"

His lack of belief has been predetermined by The Great Wazini, creator of all that is dull, limp, and boring.

Heather Wade

More and more I think he's depressed.  He should just go Goth and get it over with.

Mattie knows not of what he speaks. LOL

Wooo hooo! This one caller just told Matthew he is an agent of evil.

Only true bible ?
Oy gevalt !
It always amazes me how Christian fundies seem to forget that their bible has its roots in the Old Testament which was in Hebrew !
If I wanted to be a fanatic about it, ALL the Christians are reading fiction because the Torah IS the original and going back there was no sequel to it.

The new testament is broken into the gospels which are separate stories of Christ. The other books are part history and letters from various writers after Christ. The books were not compiled until later and there are several other books which make up the apocrypha not to be confused with several of the books of the old testament in the Catholic bible. This is the purpose of the New Testament.

Oh quit with your religious silliness and just name him. We all know the Great Wazini is Noory.

I got home late (Giants game! ! !) is tonight's interview worth a listen?

midnight

QuoteWould you be offended if he had an experience similar to that but chalked it up to medication, things being pressed in the subconscious, etc. basically anything but what happened to him is the same thing that happened to you?

No, of course I wouldn't be offended.  That word doesn't even come close to what I'm talking about.

If he sees a yellow car, he probably wouldn't chalk it up to medication or the subconscious.  If he sees a mile long triangle in the sky like so many have, and he wants to chalk it up to medication, then that's up to him, of course.  But on some deep level, I do believe it would change him.

SaucyRossy

Alper got stuck on Sarte and hasn't had the intellectual ability to see past existentialism.

phrodo

This guy is just an ultimate TROLL ... he cannot accept that he is wrong no matter how many people tell him so.

And his usage of "religiousity" is annoying ... I'd never heard the word before tonight (even had to look it up to see if he had made up the word) -- but he's used it about 30 times tonight....  :o

popple

Life has no meaning but that doesn't mean we can't experience the joy in it.

LOL Matthew...

If god has blessed you with an open mind and humorous heart, yes.  Good smoke helps too.

SciFiAuthor

Now he's after computer users.

I shall go ahead and brand this guy as a complete ass that hates everyone.

OR--we could join in an intervention and ship him off to get some help. LOL

haha...more hermetic, living in a fantasy world in my apartment...with you all, my imaginary friends.

"A billion years ago from now will my life have meaning?"

Yeah, that made sense.
