First off, if it wasn't consensual, I don't think she would bring the child around to see him.  Secondly the state was the one pressing charges, not her.  In some states 12 years old is the legal age of consent.  Am I saying I support Casio's actions?  Not necessarily, but if she really did tell him she was 16, then is he guilty or is she?

What about 14?  I didn't make the laws.  There are a lot of states where 14 is the legal age.  Who makes these rules and says they are good for everyone?   Like I said, it's a gray area.  I think it depends on the people involved.    Look at Mary Kay Letourneau in Washington state.  She fucked one of her students, went to jail a couple of times.  Now they're living together and married.   If he's happy and she's happy, can I honestly say that I have the right to say that that's wrong?   It's a difficult thing that I don't think can be defined necessarily by law to cover all situations.   Is it wrong for someone to molest a child who doesn't know what they're doing?  Absolutely.   At the same time, there are 18 year olds that probably shouldn't be having sex.
