What's Your Favorite SiriusXM Channel/Show?

Besides Art's show what is your favorite SiriusXM channel?

I'm loving the Lithium music channel. It's a 90s grunge station and it transports me back to my late teens and early to mid 20s. I could listen to it all day.

The comedy stations are good for a laugh.

I'm also digging the Stern stations not so much for the new content but I'm loving the Stern show shuffle which randomly plays shows from the 90s when the show was at its best.

I would love it if Art had his own station and owned his back catalogue and played his classic shows when he wasn't live.

On Saturday's, I rarely miss Marky Ramone's Punk Rock Blitzkrieg on Faction, channel 41. I also frequently listen to Lithium, channel 34; First Wave, channel 33; Ozzy's Boneyard, channel 38; hair metal, channel 39, as well as the 40's channel on 4.

I'm actually content with SiriusXM.  I wouldn't pay the subscription price for *only* what I've heard for the past few weeks, but since I would be willing to pay a comparable monthly fee solely for an Art Bell show, I see it all as a freebie.

During work, I keep a "grid" of "favorite" stations up and flip through them over the course of the day.  The 20's - 90's stations, 1st Wave, and Classic Rewind and Vinyl, etc. keep a good enough mix going that I can switch around quickly and easily according to my mood (or according to who happens to be in my office at the time).  I've kept Willie's Roadhouse on quite often and I have to say that it might be my favorite.  I'm happy to have moved to SiriusXM at work as the interruptions really are at a minimum and if I'm talking to someone one-on-one, obnoxious commercials are a real interruption.

I will say, as downsides, that there can be quite a lot of repetition within a channel.  I swear to god I see Howard Jones' big head every other hour popping up on that 80's channel.  Also, I wish there was a punk channel.  And, of course, their website and apps blow.

Lastly, my dirty little secrets:  1.  I've been listening to the Spa channel as I go to sleep at night.  I'm being totally serious when I say that it's cut down my Ambien consumption dramatically.  2.  I've been listening to Martha Stewart.  :-X

I've been listening to Willie's Roadhouse a little too-its nice for a Bob Wills fix.

I've been trying to listen to every station on there a little bit...except for Martha Stewart...I'm not willing to go that far down the rabbit hole.

One of the hidden gems is the opera channel. They explain what is happening in the opera in between scenes so a normal person can follow the story.  I think they do this for some fancy big city opera on Fridays.

Jay Thomas because it's "For Idiots, By Idiots".

It is real nice to hear Ross Mitchells voice again. Art kicken it ole school. LIKE IT!

I'm dated and I own it.  I programmed in the Classic vinals, 60's and 70's, Coffee House and Watercolors but can't seem to break loose of Grateful Dead station.  It's a great unwind after Art.  That sound quality...those guys get under your skin and they never coming out.  (Note to self: new BF must like the Dead.)

I forgot to mention the Pearl Jam station which would have been played non stop in my room between '93 and '95.

I've been listening to the Real Jazz channel and some of the Latin channels.  Thanks for all the suggestions - I'll give them all a shot.

On the Deep Tracks (ch 27) channel right now they have a bunch of exclusives-sounds like live stuff and remakes. They have Heart doing LZ's Immigrant Song and Al Stewart live.

I like the Metallica channel 111. I hope it is permanent.
The Loft #30 and the Coffeehouse #31 are favorites too, especially for road trips.

I like Opie & Anthony, but they're not what they used to be. I'll have to poke around & see what else is out there, though Art takes up plenty of my time as it is.

I have my own dirty little secrets: 40's station and Bluegrass Junction: lambseatoatsandmareseatoats and yeehaw.

But I also listen to 80's, 90's, and opera, old radio shows and stuff.
