I heard Jay Thomas being his usual smart ass self and dissing Art last week.  He was using Stern's cheap ploy of pretending not to know Art's name or reputation.  Tacky and transparent.  This could be the host Art is referring to.

Stern and Thomas are no doubt threatened by Art's talent and popularity.
