LOVE his book collection.

Exactly what I imagined him having haha

Does anyone recognize the magazine collection?

Also, do you think many of these books were given to Art by their authors?

Of course, many of them for sure. Pretty much any of the ones that were on his show, and my guess Rush and Larry King sends him their books.

Just a guess.

I'm certain that Art rarely ever pays for a book unless he is specifically seeking it out, I bet he gets so many books sent to him by fans and authors that he can't possibly read them all.

It's probably safe to assume that this is a pretty tiny fraction of his actual library. I can think of a hundred books off the top of my head that I'm sure he has, just counting from his regular/favorite guests.

Can someone ask that little girl to get out of the wonderful shot of that bookshelf. Talk about photobombing a photo.

You're a boss, basswood!  8)

How about books we've heard mention before that we know he has/had?  For example, as I recall he once indicated while interviewing her that he owned pretty much all of Tess Gerritsen's books (whatever they are).  Also, he mentioned having Ring World at one point, by Larry Niven. This is just off the top of my head, I'm sure I'll recall many others.

         No "Worker in the Light"?

         My goodness.

Thanks, but it was pretty much a sealed deal the second that scully posted the picture.

That one is in the rest room in case he runs out of toilet paper.

Thanks, basswood!
When I first looked at the photo I only recognized three that I have on my bookshelves. But after seeing your list, I guess I actually have six of those books.

We're sick... LOL

Renaldo

Wow, so Art appears to actually keep and read his guest's books, unlike Dave who uses them as trivia question give aways.  :-*

Check under the bookcase leg. If it's not there, look in the birdcage.

Or you could find Worker In The Light in one of Art's cats catboxes as shredded filler.

***********

I found this book and its really cute and if it isn't on Art's bookshelf, it should be.
It has recipes for your cat and most of them can be made for people too.
The illustrations are really cute too.
I got it for a dollar at the library.
