Corrected the issues with only uploading to 1 peer at a time ( my 1st torrent), so working as intended now.

I just don't understand this SHARE everything you got thing, it took me years to break the more than 700 without any torrents. I actually had to work at it.

If a friend of mine experesses some interest in a certain kind of "off topic" kind of thing? then I'll say I have a few files for ya.. from this guy who had the best radio show ever...

Thank you Driton! I'll be sure to let you know about shows you don't have from those years. Its going to take a bit to finish downloading then to sort out what I have vs what you have. Thanks again.

The caching errors may be on my end,as this is my first torrent so I have no experience through trial and error, but when I first started it was only uploading to 1 at a time.
It has completed a few times, however I do not currently know if they stuck around to seed it.
Hoping a few stick around to seed it, because its smashing my bandwidth to bits. Already uploaded 90+gigs,but will have to stop around 150gb.

The caching errors are not on your end. Your torrent works great.

I should be finished downloading soon (93%) and I will continue to seed.

anyways yeah even if the bay goes down im pretty sure the torrents, once they're started move amongst the seeders/leechers. Speaking of which I'll be leaving it to seed indefinitely.

Where can I find a torrent 101 class, I can't get shit to work, still recording off YouTube with RadioTime Red Button. I'm such a Luddite.

me too.

search for utorrent. you will find a page that will let you download the program called utorrent.

install it. easy peasy

go to a torrent site. I use TPB and EZTV.it

On TPB type in your interest in the search bar... look through the returns click on the one you like the most. a page will appear, on that page you will see a green bar with words like get this torrent. click on it. Utorrent will do the rest.

On EZTV find the page that has all the tv shows in alphabetical order find your show. A page will come up with several episodes for you to choose from. Select the episode look to the right and see several icons to click choose the first one on the left. utorrent will do the rest.

from there you should be a torrent stud.

download utorrent from www.utorrent.com like onan said above somewhere... install that shit with MOST of the defaults. Obviously say no to the ask toolbar or whatever shit may attempt to have itself bundled. I believe on install it asks to be associated with torrent files. goto http://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/8777806/
and click "get this torrent" right next to the magnet. it should open utorrent and start downloading.

btw this thing is coming down hella fast... 55% since my last post and at speeds up near 2mbs!! if you need more help luxlogs just let us know.

apparently onan answered as well ... beat me to it... but here's my little description as well. between the two of us I'm sure one our sets of directions will work

You sound like the hoarding collector-type. No thanks.

I appreciate people that want to share their collection, no matter how they got it. Many people didn't consume the show with the collector's mindset.

Yes, its very nice to share or better yet enlighten others, even better if they are a stranger. I just got an M Martin show on MP3 that I only previously had on VHS tape and I appreciate it very much. Thank You Stranger.

Art used to have a whole web page on how to record his shows to VHS back in the day. Did you record many of his shows to VHS? If so, I'd be happy to help you convert any rare ones to mp3.

Thanks all the same but those tapes got recorded over and over till they were shredded. Who ever thought 20 years later we would be lusting after things that used to go bump in the night.

Thanks to those that are seeding the torrent.
I had it uploading at 2.6mbs for 2 days,but had to leave for baltimore on business, so ill reseed it on wednesday.
Glad to help with filling peoples collection, it took me about 4 years of dipping and dabbing thru many different public and private collections just to get to my present total. So many bad dated shows out there i mustve downloaded the same shows with different dates and titles 25xs over.
I also have 2004-2010 art shows,however the folders havent been edited out (de-noorized).

That pretty much nails it. Les Pauls, Solar Panels, and classic AB. I will admit that if I only had a few shows and heard about a way I could have a few hundred or so? I would be interested in finding out how.

It's not working for me. All it keeps doing is bringing up some stupid thing that keeps scanning the computer for errors. Am I doing something wrong? I also see that there's 100 different places to click on. Do I select "Download Now", or "Get This Torrent" or what?

Thank you so much for posting this as it makes road trips so much easier with these loaded on my ipad.

I'm 95% completed just last night so hopefully tonight I will get the whole thing. When I get the entire file. I'll turn on my sharing each nite to maximum bandwidth so others can also get the files.
