why were you banned? you seem like a reasonable person around here.

Thank you MV for that.

Most musicians (the other forums) are very tender and must be coddled, a "reasonable person" does not do well with those people. I've noticed Gabbers here are for the most part pretty nice all while being strait shooters. Funny too! < that's the best part.

I am a little surprised I was not banned HERE for a lil while for my recent post in the (What do you do when Art's not on?) I'm one of those jackasses who laughs at his own jokes and sometimes the filter is down. Tried to remove it but I had already signed out.

onward & upward :)

I post occasionally on motorcycle forums - thumpertalk, xt225, and one of the R6 forums.   I also have posted on some of the forums for my vehicles when I need info on them, and sometimes I post on pinside.  I used to be pretty active on modsquadhockey, but I haven't posted there in a long long time.      But currently the only one I check regularly is BG, and I only started coming back regularly once I went looking for a place to chat about Art's return.

Above top secret, but mostly lurk there.

I've been on bikeforums.net for years.  I like to ride bikes as often as I can.  Mostly road bikes.  I've been a cyclist for years.  Mostly doing rides from 25-100 miles.  No, I'm not a racer.  Also roadbikereview.com.  I'm also on watchgeeks.com, a forum for guys and gals that like, appreciate, and collect watches.  Finally, I'm on several cigar blogs, as I do enjoy a nice cigar from time to time as well.  I'm Rangerdavid on all those forums too since I was a National Park Ranger with the National Park Service (Retired).

What do you think of David Pauladies?  (or however you spell his name)

don't really know enough about hm to have an opinion.  I know he investigates big foot sightings and people that have gone missing in national parks.  as to the first, I think there is something out there.  as vast as our national parks and national forests are, there certainly could be and it could be virtually undetected.

as to the later, people go missing every day.  I don't know how many rescues I've been on where we have to find and rescue lost hikers, etc.  We would always ask them why they didn't have a compass and/or a map.  Many that did have a compass would say they had one, just didn't know how to use it.  duh.........
